This week’s episode is a bit of a real talk! I’m right in the middle of my biggest launch to date, so there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. However, I’ve intentionally made this launch feel lighter than any launch I’ve done before. And that’s even with school holidays, twin toddlers, and a to-do list that’s still very much growing. So I wanted to share why it feels different. Because I haven’t magically gained more time or fewer responsibilities (actually the opposite!). But I’ve made three shifts this year that have completely changed the way my business feels, even during the busiest seasons. If you’ve ever felt like launching or running your creative business has to come with a side of burnout, I hope this gives you a bit of breathing space, and maybe even a new way to approach things moving forward. What We Cover in This Episode:The myth that hustle = success (and what actually works instead)Why “priorities over perfection” changed everythingThe simple systems to save time and energyHow “good enough” can actually help your business growWhy lightness in business is a strategic choice, not just a happy accidentToday's Takeaways:Planning with priorities helps you ditch overwhelm and actually get things done.Systems don’t have to be complicated - even a simple checklist can change how you show up.Perfectionism is just procrastination in disguise. Letting go can move you forward faster..📌 Links and Resources:(anything marked with * is an affiliate link)FREE Pre-Launch Checklist Download: https://create.fizzandflourish.com/prelaunch1:1 Coaching: https://www.fizzandflourish.com/coachingJoin my Patreon for exclusive weekly episodes: https://www.patreon.com/c/fizzandflourishReady to build your email list and funnels easily? What if the smartest move you could make in your creative business…was to do less?In this episode, we're flipping the script on the "move fast, launch fast" narrative and exploring what it really means to stay focused, even when new ideas feel more exciting. Because sometimes, chasing everything means nothing grows, and patience is the best strategy. If you’re the kind of creative who gets a million ideas a day (and wants to act on all of them immediately), then this episode is for you! We're talking about the moment when something feels slow or hard and you're tempted to switch gears. Start a new project, launch a new offer, or just…escape the discomfort of sticking with what you’ve already started. Whether you’re feeling scattered across too many projects or just wondering why things aren’t “clicking” yet, this episode will help you rethink what focus can do for your business, and how to practice strategic patience even when it’s uncomfortable. What We Cover In This Episode:How patience is why your growth can accelerateHow to tell the difference between a smart pivot and a fear-based oneThe hidden cost of constantly starting overWhat you’re really building when you stick with one thingPractical ways to protect your focus (even with a million ideas in your head)Today’s Takeaways:Momentum doesn’t come from starting something new, it comes from staying with something long enough to see it work!Patience isn’t the absence of action, it’s the decision to go deeper instead of wider. When you focus, you don’t just build a product, you build trust, clarity and consistency that grows your business long-term.📌 Links & Resources:(anything marked with * is an affiliate link)Partner Episode 21: Too Many Ideas, Not Enough Time (Avoid Idea Overwhelm): https://www.fizzandflourish.com/211:1 Coaching Application form: fizzandflourish.com/coachingJoin my Patreon for exclusive episodes: https://www.patreon.com/c/fizzandflourishReady to build your email list and funnels easily? If you’re anything like me (or, every client I’ve worked with this year), your creative brain is on fire - constantly full of new ideas, dreaming up big projects, and planning 18 different launches…if you had the time! But when everything feels urgent and exciting all at once, it’s easy to get stuck in that frustrating cycle of starting a million things…and not finishing any of them.In today’s episode, we’re talking about idea overwhelm and what to actually do with all those ideas, and how to turn creative chaos into calm, focused momentum. I’ll share my go-to system for managing the idea overwhelm, how to know what to prioritise, and permission to pause without guilt. This one’s for anyone who’s ever felt like their brain is too full to make progress! What We Cover in this Episode:Why idea overwhelm is a sign of creativity, not failureMy process for turning messy brain dumps into actionable plansHow to prioritise your projects based on energy and the season you're inA little intro to Human Design and how it’s changed the way I workWhat it looks like to pause an idea on purpose (without guilt)Today’s Takeaways:Your brain is simply full. You don’t need more ideas…you need some breathing room.An “idea dump” is only the beginning. Clarity comes when you sort and revisit.Saying not right now to an idea doesn’t mean giving up. It’s strategic. 📌 Links & Resources:(anything marked with * is an affiliate link)1:1 Coaching: https://www.fizzandflourish.com/coachingJoin my Patreon for exclusive episodes: https://www.patreon.com/c/fizzandflourishReady to build your email list and funnels easily? Have you ever typed something into Etsy, like ‘wall art print’ or ‘birthday card’ - only to be hit with thousands of results? Suddenly, your brilliant product idea feels tiny compared to the sea of other shops already out there. It’s easy to think, “What’s the point? It’s already been done.”But being small doesn’t mean being invisible. And a saturated market doesn’t mean you can’t grow. In fact, it often means the opposite. It shows that there’s demand, that people are buying, and that there’s absolutely space for you to carve out your corner. In this episode, I’m sharing how to reframe oversaturation and what it really means for you as a small creative business owner. Plus, I’ll walk you through the tools and mindset shifts that will help you find (and keep) your slice of the pie. What We Cover in This Episode:Why oversaturation is a myth (and why competition is actually a sign of demand). How to make you the niche by leaning into your story, style, and values. Why competing on price is a dead end, and how to compete on connection instead. What to do if you’re not planning to drive your own traffic (and want to rely on Etsy SEO).How to use eRank to spot opportunities, avoid dead-end keywords, and make informed product decisions.Practical steps to stand out in a crowded market, from defining brand values to developing a signature style. What it means to “future-proof” your creative business so it can grow sustainably for years to come.Today’s Takeaway:A saturated market = proof of demand, not a dead end.You don’t need to compete with everyone, you just need to carve out your little corner.Lean into your uniqueness: your story, your style, your values.Strong photos + optimised listings = your edge on Etsy (and beyond).Use research tools to move from guessing to knowing what people actually want.Take one small step today - check a keyword, refresh a photo, or note down your brand values. Tiny shifts build momentum!📌 Links and Resources:(anything marked with * is an affiliate link)1:1 Coaching Application form: fizzandflourish.com/coachingEpisode mentions - Episode 14: Ideal Customer: How to Attract the Right Audience for your Creative Business https://www.fizzandflourish.com/ep14Episode 6: How to Start and Grow your Email List (Without Feeling Overwhelmed) https://www.fizzandflourish.com/ep6Join my Patreon for exclusive weekly episodes: https://www.patreon.com/c/fizzandflourishReady to build your email list and funnels easily?
