This is a solo, story-forward episode of Overheard Online.In this installment, I take you through a long chain of firsthand accounts where reality seems to momentarily lose its footing - quietly, briefly, and without explanation. There’s no debate panel, no interviews, and no theories layered on top. Just the stories themselves, told as they were experienced and written.Across these accounts, objects duplicate and vanish. Cars disappear mid-drive. Roads reset, exits repeat, and familiar routes lead somewhere else entirely. Time compresses, stretches, or drops out altogether. People freeze mid-movement. Faces and bodies appear pixelated or translucent. Sounds distort. Voices come through radios that shouldn’t be transmitting anything at all.Some moments are witnessed by multiple people.
