How we spend our time, and how aligned our days are spent with how we wish to spend them, is directly influenced by the kind of money mindset we have.Today I’ve got a couple questions to help you get a sense of this alignment for yourself.I keep bringing this up, because it keeps being true: the key person who will hear you, is you.So open up the notes app on your phone or find yourself a journal, grab a cup of tea and your favorite blanket, and let’s hop in!Write to me at this link with questions and commentsAnd/orSubscribe to the newsletter form of this podcast so that future episodes land right in your inboxThank you for being here! I HAD NO IDEA how negative my money mindset used to be. Lack was the word that best describes it.Over several years I’ve opened more and more to feeling abundance.Even with all that growth, 2025 blew the absolute doors off of any abundance mindset I’d ever had.Between the dream home and property my life partner and I now live on, and the up-leveling of service that I have been able to provide with my better money mindset, both as a coach and also creatively, I simply have one thing to say:If I can do it… You can too.I’m taking you into how, with a multipart series on cultivating a positive money mindset.Today we start with two important questions. I’d love to hear your responses to each of them, and your questions about cultivating this mindset too.But the key person who will hear you, is you.So open up the notes app on your phone or find yourself a journal, grab a cup of tea and your favorite blanket, and let’s hop in!Write to me at this link with questions and commentsAnd/orSubscribe to the newsletter form of this podcast so that future episodes land right in your inboxThank you for being here! Happy new year! For this episode I share three questions that have been super helpful for me in envisioning a wonderful 2026. I share my responses to them… With such curiosity about you. I wonder how you would answer these questions? Here are the questions:1. A Magical Three from this year’s Year Compass:“I will have the power to say no to these three things.”… What are your three things?2. & 3. These next two come from my conversations with my AI thinking partner:“What does 2026 wish for you to remember about your own aliveness – especially in the quieter, slower, or less certain moments?”“What felt newly possible for you in 2026 – something that once lived only in your imagination, but that this year brought into form, presence, or even just tangible steps forward?”I hope they help you create a really wonderful coming year!Come Play a Game with MeToday I share about Days of Creation 2026, a way to "proactively build your coming year.” Click here for the post where you can download your complimentary copy of the Game Book and then we can play together!Come Be in Good CompanyLast year I founded Dreamers & Doers, a group that has grown into a really wonderful and quite magical place. On 23 December 2022 I sustained a head injury that took me many many months to recover from. I spent half the following year in physical therapy supporting my eyes to work properly again. The head injury permanently changed how I engage with print and reading. It had one other, very beneficial, effect: at the hospital I was told “You need lots of rest. If you want to get truly better from this you must take it easy.”It was two days before Christmas. How in heck was I going to “take it easy” two days before Christmas? For the first time in a very long time, I did. The ease that that brought into my life made it one of the most pleasant Christmases in years.Ease. That’s what we’re talking about today.I share a quickie self-care practice that can help us remember that there’s such a thing in the world as ease, and that maybe we can allow some of that into our experience.I also bring a question for you:What does it take for you to allow ease into your life?I would love to hear. Kay described her artistic process of creating a drawing on-site and later incorporating it into a painting using colors from her other works.Impressionist Coastal Art DiscussionKay shared her latest painting, which depicts a coastal scene reminiscent of the beach near Laxe, and expressed satisfaction with her decision to embrace an impressionist style rather than striving for photorealism. Kay also mentioned a previous painting of her son playing the guitar, and expressed relief at completing her latest work.Pastel Prints and Life TransitionsKay shared her excitement about new pastel prints and discussed the process of creating and signing them. She explained how she used a pastel diptych as a reference for a larger painting, which was then turned into a print. Kay also talked about a painting of amaryllis that helped her find mindfulness during a turbulent winter, and one of a Maine sunset that symbolized her family’s intention to move to Maine. She described the challenges of selling their Massachusetts home and finding a new one, ultimately discovering their current home through a Facebook Marketplace posting.Moving Homes and Artistic JourneyKay shared her personal story about moving homes, highlighting the emotional journey and the overwhelming response to their previous house, which received 22 offers and sold quickly. Greetings friend! I'm geeking out a little bit today on something that's been both a passion of mine and my professional work for more than three decades: human dynamics, the study of how humans interact with each other. We human beings are fascinating creatures. We can seem very unpredictable to someone who’s not inside ourselves. We can even seem unpredictable to ourselves at times.Over the last several months I have reflected on and developed two Universal Laws of Human Dynamics. They are based on my work over the decades as an educator and coach – there's been lots of opportunity to observe humans over all of this time – plus the many years of dedicated learning that I started with as an undergrad and continued with into my graduate degree. These two Universal Laws invite looking at our neighbors and ourselves through a different lens, one that you might find extremely useful in interacting with others.Hope you enjoy this one!Invitations for You* I am offering an art sale at my website!
