What a wild rife the last few weeks have been for TPP. You can hear it in the way Casey and Oliver open the program, covering the audition process and announcing the cast list for the first Mainstage Series show, Noises Off!  We also discuss the audition process and the things we learned for next year.    In our second segment we visit with longtime caller, first time listener, Jill Clark-Manshreck, TPP's genius Scenic and stage designer. She tells us about her process, time before TPP and how it came full circle a few years ago. I also give her so much crap for asking and asking to be on the show, yet she's NEVER listened to an episode. So maybe we got a new fan or several new fans after this episode.    Get Tickets to Noises Off! TPP Ep 4. Mo Hurley

TPP Ep 4. Mo Hurley

It's another episode of The Premiere Podcast! And this episode is one for the history books! It's our LONGEST episode yet; however, you can tell that there is so much fun being had in this episode that you'll wish it was longer!   Oliver Mayes, side kick and co-host extraordinaire, joins Casey to share exciting things happening in the community. We tease BIGLY announcements coming for The Premiere Playhouse (sorry no season 23 news yet, but maybe some clues!). Casey is quizzed again on his knowledge of musical theatre; it does not go great. Casey turns the tables on Oliver and tests his knowledge on Sports. What does this have to do with Theatre? Nothing, it's just fun.   Our second portion of the show, Casey interviews, Mo Hurley. Actor, Writer, Director, Author, Clown#2 and an Award Winner shares stories of TPP, Casey's Santa Thong Picture, directing the chair bit (yep, brought up again). But most importantly we discuss Mo's direction of Educating Rita, opening April 24 - 27 at the University of Sioux Falls Educating Rita - The Premiere Playhouse (Tickets here).   There is so much zaniness and laughter in this episode you'll be begging for us to bring Mo back soon!   Want to learn how YOU can get involved in our season Productions? On this third episode of The Premiere Podcast we deal with sound issues. Just a little bit. Though more importantly Casey and Oliver read totally real reviews that are not made up. Oliver questions Casey on Musical Theatre trivia. Spoiler Alert. It does not go well. The second half of the episode, Casey welcomes two bright actors from The Premiere Playhouse, Ceil Stoll and Ian Ward, to talk William Shakespear's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Pranks, working with your significant other and more.
The Premiere Podcast is back for its second episode. Is it bigger and better than the first? That's for you to find out and judge. This episode, Casey visits with Oliver to discuss the happenings since episode 1. WE MANIFESTED OUR FIRST GUESTS POMOTION TO CEO!!!!! We dive into Casey's show in Parker, after a 2 year hiatus form Standup, SNL 50th and the audition process. Oliver provides insights for anyone auditioning for shows. Guess what? The entire crew is rooting for you and your peers. Alex and Abby join to discuss the education camps, kids summer camps and the Penguin Project. They also share what to expect for these mainstays year over year. As we say in the biz, they are "show ready".
