Description

Salt & Sovereignty is a podcast where I explore healing, spirituality, shadow work, and what it really means to reclaim your sovereignty in everyday life.

This show grew out of my own journey through trauma, therapy, witchcraft, and spiritual practice. I don’t claim to have all the answers. I’m simply sharing what I’m learning as I walk this path; the doubts, the breakthroughs, the messy middle, and the small moments of magic that remind me I’m not walking it alone.

These conversations live at the crossroads between the practical and the spiritual. Sometimes that means talking about shadow work and healing. Sometimes it means talking about witchcraft, devotion, and the strange ways the universe nudges us when we’re paying attention.

My hope is that this space feels honest, thoughtful, and welcoming. You won’t find dogma here, and you won’t find anyone telling you what you should believe. Just real exploration, curiosity, and the freedom to take what resonates and leave the rest.

Because at the end of the day, sovereignty means your path belongs to you.

This is the closing ritual. The reckoning. The return. In this sacred seal of Season 2, we do not recap. We descend. Together, we walk the spiral of betrayal one final time. Not to relive the pain, but to remember who we were before it. This is not a tidy conclusion. It’s a ritual of resurrection. An offering to the thrones betrayal tried to scorch.Ashley and Lizza take listeners on a mythic journey through the Twelve Thrones of the Unknowing framework, inviting each Salted Soul to identify the archetype that betrayal fractured most… and to begin the ritual work of reclaiming it.This isn’t about forgiving what was unforgivable. It’s about unearthing the self you buried to survive it.It’s about the throne that still pulses beneath the ash.
After the descent into betrayal and the haunting silence that followed, Lizza returns to the site of her distorted throne: the Radiant Voice. Not to relive it, but to reclaim it. We walk with her through the slow, sovereign process of unlearning the silence she once called safety and rediscovering her voice not as a weapon or a performance, but as a sacred vow to herself. She shares how rituals, time, tenderness, and truth-telling slowly cleared the ash. How healing wasn’t a single roar of forgiveness, but a series of whispers: I am still here. I am still mine. This is a story of repair but not just with the friend she lost, but with the part of herself that never got to speak. The radiant voice returns not in fury, but in fierce clarity.
This episode slips into the quiet that followed the breaking. Lizza returns to the scene of the betrayal to explore the haunting relationship between betrayal and silence, and how the echo of unspoken truths shapes our bodies, our choices, our identities. Through story-as-spell, we unravel how self-forgiveness becomes the bridge back to authenticity. And how every woman, no matter how long she’s stayed quiet, holds within her a radiant voice that remembers the way home. This is a transmission for anyone who has swallowed their truth to stay safe. For the ones who feared their voice was too much. Or not enough. For those ready to reclaim it—not polished, but powerful.Trigger Warnings: betrayalemotional repressionsilenceabandonmentidentity rupture

In this sacred unraveling, Ashley returns to the ashes of betrayal where the truth went quiet and the body began to brace. She names the distortion that followed: a severing from self, from others, and from safety. Through mythic reflection and somatic remembrance, she shares how betrayal twisted her view of intimacy, power, and belonging. She talks about how this betrayal distorted her Flamebreaker, an archetype born not of rage, but of rightful endings. A torch that does not destroy but clarifies. Through this lens, Ashley explores how we suppress sacred anger, confuse loyalty with silence, and build walls to survive what should have been safe.
