Thanks for reading! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.---Dundee Stars head coach Marc LeFebvre says he’s grown as a coach in the last decade as he prepares for another campaign.LeFebvre was a guest on the latest edition of the Elite podcast where he discussed his current Dundee team and took the time to reflect on his career as a coach so far.And the former Coventry Blaze coach revealed he’s learned to grow and evolve since first stepping on to the bench in the Elite League in 2013.“I think my man management is better than it was when I was younger,” he said. “People won’t say I’m calmer because I’m always screaming at the refs, but in terms of how I talk to the guys, I feel I’m better at that certainly.“But you have to evolve as you get older and if you can’t do that, you’ll get left behind and I’ve always taken baby steps to grow.“Am I always going to do the right thing? No, but I’ll always do what’s best for the club, but you have to take chances and be comfortable taking risks.“I’ve also learned to ignore the outside noise. I used to be bothered about what other people, but as I’ve gotten older, I take less notice and do what’s best for the team and the club.”Subscribe to future episodes either on Substack or find it on Apple podcasts or Spotify.
