Primate Movie Review - A crazy chimp terrorizes a small group of good looking young adults in this brand new 2026 horror film. I very much liked the idea of taking that scene from NOPE and expanding it to a full movie. Thankfully, Primate nailed it! This flick was brutal with some great kills and memorable scenes. Unfortunately some of the worst offenders were also the last of their series. I was very letdown by Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning and Wicked: For Good. Happy Gilmore 2 was an expected disaster but it still stung, all the same. Spinal Tap II was another legacy sequel that missed the mark entirely. Then there's Superman (2025). Stranger Things Season 5 Finale Review - Well that was a very messy season. I can confidently say that Vecna sucks as a villain and the show would have been much better off without him. Really, this entire Season 5 of Stranger Things could have skipped over like 80% of the nonsense and gone right to the last 20 minutes. A very solid 20 minutes, at that. Stranger Things had one of the best first seasons of television ever and ever since, coasted on that greatness. Getting too big for its own good by the 4th season and never recovering. At least we got some great closure and the show will live on for generations to come. Anaconda Movie Review - Jack Black and Paul Rudd team up for an Anaconda sequel/reboot/whatever. Nostalgia and humor run throughout this PG-13 comedy but the snake kills and exciting moments are nowhere to be found. Anaconda is unfortunately a very mediocre film that should have gone much harder than it did. A safe, basic movie that doesn't live up to the Anaconda name. Avatar: Fire & Ash Movie Review - We are back with the Sully family as they continue to evade the evil humans. They can't however, avoid the second movie, Way of Water and that's really the worst thing about Avatar 3. It is following up a very bad second entry. Now, if you liked Avatar 2, I don't think you will have any issues with the third installment. If you were hoping it would change gears and go somewhere wildly different, you will be very disappointed. I was just happy to not fall asleep. The Housemaid Movie Review - Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried have a love/hate relationship in 2025's The Housemaid. I'm a sucker for a good thriller and The Housemaid mostly delivers. While I can't speak to the accuracy from the book series, the film provides enough interesting developments and a great performance from Seyfried, to keep things interesting. I wish I could say the same for Sydney Sweeney, who is at her worst here.
