Description

Welcome to Movies Minus 10, the podcast where I—and a rotating cast of guests — examine films widely considered to be terrible and ask the big question: are they actually worth watching?

Because let’s face it—sometimes there’s nothing more enjoyable than a bad movie… but it has to be the right kind of bad.

In each episode, we review one of these cinematic disasters, explore the stories behind their creation, and rate them on a unique scale from +10 to -10. A +10 is a genuine masterpiece. A -10? A glorious trainwreck—so bad it loops back around to being entertaining.

FilmWhether you’re looking for the perfect film to laugh at with friends or just want to hear others suffer through the worst Hollywood has to offer, join us on Movies Minus 10.

In this special, Christmas episode of Movies Minus 10, we examine the 1964 cult classic, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians! Godzilla vs. Robot Space Godzilla? How could we not cover this?In this episode of Movies Minus 10, we take on Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla—a kaiju showdown that promises either tremendous fun or a try-hard failure. Is it an epic monster mash, or does it fall flat with its out-of-this-world concept? Tune in to find out! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this episode of Movies Minus 10, we dive into Amityville II: The Possession (1982), the (wildly) loose prequel to the original. Is this sequel a terrifying follow-up—or a trashy trainwreck worth watching for all the wrong reasons? Tune in to find out. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Stephen King directed one movie… and he was coked out of his mind the whole time.In this episode of Movies Minus 10, we take a wild ride through Maximum Overdrive (1986), the only film written and directed by the master of horror himself. Killer vending machines, homicidal lawnmowers, and a truck with a Green Goblin face—what could possibly go wrong? Is it a disasterpiece worth your bad movie night, or just a cautionary tale about letting authors direct? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this episode, we revisit the 70s horror classic that spawned a thousand (mostly terrible) sequels. But what about the original Amityville Horror? Is it a so-bad-it’s-good gem—or just plain good?
