Description

Hi! We’re Pavan and Rohan—just a couple who love watching and talking about Bollywood!

I, Pavan, grew up absolutely loving Bollywood movies, but being in a non-diverse town meant I didn’t have many people to share that love with. When I met Rohan, he wasn’t very connected to his culture either, but we found common ground in the Bollywood films we had both seen.

With Rohan’s encouragement, we decided to create a space where people—whether lifelong fans or just getting into Bollywood—can come together, share their love for movies, and have fun discussions. We’re not experts, just two people enjoying the magic of Bollywood, one film at a time!

When we first started dating, Rohan told me his favorite Bollywood movie was Kal Ho Naa Ho. One small problem? He hadn’t actually seen it. Turns out, he was thinking of a completely different film — Main Hoon Na.In this episode, we revisit both of these iconic early 2000s Bollywood movies to figure out how this mix-up happened, how they shaped our relationship, and whether they still hold up. Expect some roasting, some romance, and a whole lot of yelling about sweaty hospital scenes, spitting professors, and Shahrukh Khan doing what Shahrukh Khan does best.
