An episode which began with us saying we didn't have much to say about what's been happening in Emmerdale recently, and culminated in speculation about which characters would correctly use the subjunctive, Lizzie asking any listeners out there for legal advice and/or a graphic design job, and Simon giving some British Sign Language lessons via this non-visual medium.
Flashback week told us which unlikely candidate was the one to actually kill Ray - and we also turn our attention to hideous home decor, the whereabouts of Joe Tate's gym, #Robron engagement, and the police simply not caring about drug dealers, blackmail etc but losing their mind over a stolen van key.

To properly dissect Corriedale, it felt right to have a crossover episode of our own, bringing together Coronation Street podcast Conversation Street and Emmerdale podcast Dingle All The Way. We chat to Alex Skerratt, a friend of Lizzie's who not only writes the Sooty and Sweep show, but whose life has been intertwined with Emmerdale since the 80s! From growing up in real-life Hotten to living with an Emmerdale scriptwriter, Alex shares his Emmerdale memories, as well as behind-the-scenes insights into the writing process and how the show has changed over time.

Our latest musings on what's been going on in Emmerdale village, including the logistics of keeping someone alive in a forest cellar, Claudette's rare friendly moment and Lizzie potentially finding she has, in fact, had enough farming content (for now).
