In January I sat down with "bad boy" independent filmmaker Leroy Nguyen, whose work I've followed for over 15 years. We discussed his work in detail and also our shared love of martial arts films and inspirations. I'd been a fan of him for 1.5 decades but never spoken to him directly before this interview. I had a blast and would love to chat it up with him more in the future.
The 1985 Jackie Chan Hong Kong classic is as iconic as it is influential. Lawson & Katie take you through the backstory and all of the hard hitting action/stunts that created a masterpiece.
Initially released as simply "The Raid", this 2011/2012 Indonesian film put Silat and its stars on the map. Katie & Lawson are huge fans, and you should be too!
