We’re back!  After an accidental little podcast hiatus, the Beckys reconvene to discuss everything from filming weddings and staying in Premier Inns alone, to singing on the dance floor, questionable biscuit opinions and the fact that apparently we are now too old to understand Gen Z. We’ve officially hit one year of The Becky Sessions 🎉 (recorded, of course, the night before it needed to go out… classic). This episode is a proper catch-up — from finishing final edits and heading into wedding season, to the reality of juggling filming, editing, and life in between. We chat about burnout, whether to actually take a break (or just keep going), and how editing always seems to slow down when you’re busiest shooting. We also get into the pressure of social media — feeling like you should be posting constantly, capturing everything, and keeping up with what everyone else is doing… and what happens when you just decide not to. There’s talk of trends (hello black & white edits 👀), trying new things like camcorders, simplifying packages, and why comparing yourself to others can completely derail your mindset. Plus: a little rant about cold emails, some honest thoughts on the pressure of the job, and a reminder that this industry is hard — but also pretty brilliant.
