Description

Hi, I’m Allison, you might know me as Worldharmony online.

A Course in Miracles has played a meaningful role in my life, especially in how it’s helped me think differently about peace, forgiveness, and love. At the same time, I’ve often noticed that its beautiful language can make it hard to translate the ideas into everyday experience.
That’s why I created A Course in Miracles In Practice.

Season 1 focuses on the daily practice of the Workbook lessons. Season 2 continues the conversation by exploring the ideas behind that practice, drawing from the Text to explore how these theories play out in our daily experience and support what the Workbook is training us to do.

I do the research and script writing for each episode, then use NotebookLM to generate two AI voices to create a conversational podcast.

If you’re working with A Course in Miracles, whether you’re just starting or have been with it for years, my hope is that this podcast feels like a companion in that process and helps bridge the gap between the Course’s ideas and real life, the way it continues to do for me. Thank you for listening and being part of this conversation!

This episode explores how discomfort reveals the moment we believe a story about ourselves and how that belief shapes experience. Drawing on Lessons 29–35, the hosts show how noticing discomfort clarifies the difference between facts and the meaning we assign to them. The conversation focuses on recognition rather than resolution, inviting listeners to understand what discomfort signals before anything changes. Comments or questions? In this episode, we explore “Above All Else I Want to See” and the stretch of lessons where interpretation stops feeling neutral. The conversation focuses on how noticing the speed at which we decide on a meaning can affect our trust in our own thinking,. We invite you to notice where judgment already operates and pause there. In this episode of A Course in Miracles In Practice, we look at Lessons 15–21 and the way meaning gets assigned to what we see, often instantly and without our awareness. The conversation centers on what it’s like to notice our perception unfolding, how quickly we trust our first interpretation, and what we then expect the world to do for us. Rather than offering conclusions, this episode stays with observation, the part of the Workbook that comes before answers.Comments or questions? Email me at acim@theworldharmonyproject.org. In this episode, our hosts explore the shared idea running through Lessons 8–14, focusing on the question “Where am I placing the cause of what I’m experiencing?” They discuss how the Workbook invites a shift in attention away from external explanations and toward noticing how meaning is generated in the mind. The conversation stays open, reflective, and grounded in recognition rather than instruction, leaving the question active for listeners. Comments or questions? Greetings!! In this episode, we explore the theoretical foundation behind Workbook Lessons 1–7, focusing on how meaning, perception, and miracles function at the level of the mind. Using Chapter One of the Text, we discuss how the lesson “Nothing I See Means Anything” introduces a shift from assuming meaning is inherent to recognizing perception as learned and correctable. The conversation frames these early lessons as an intentional reorientation that prepares the ground for mind training rather than immediate understanding. You you may wish to pair this episode with the 7 corresponding workbook episodes from our first season, also located on this podcast platform. Comments or questions? The hosts explore "This holy instant would I give to you. Be you in charge for I would follow you certain that your direction gives me peace." In “Lesson 363,” the hosts focus on what follows after the moment goes to God and the urge to check for results subsides. They emphasize non-interference, where words, thoughts, or stillness already present remain untouched. The conversation frames the lesson as lived experience rather than full explanation. Why are these final episodes so short? Well, they’re about experience rather than analysis. In Lesson 362, the hosts speak from the experience that follows the decision to let God be in charge, rather than revisiting how that decision is made. The conversation rests in the certainty that the answer does not depend on recognition or proof, and that nothing further is required once control is released. Comments or questions? In this short episode for “Lesson 360: Peace Be To Me, The Holy Son Of God,” the hosts explore the difference between certainty and reassurance, and how the lesson treats peace as an already settled fact rather than a hoped-for outcome . They look at how reassurance keeps the question open by relying on experience, while certainty closes the question by grounding peace in identity. Comments or questions? In “Lesson 358 – No Call To God Can Be Unheard Nor Left Unanswered,” the hosts explore what it means to trust that an answer has already been given, even when it doesn’t arrive in the form we expect. The conversation looks at how prayer shifts from asking for outcomes to allowing correction, and how guidance can meet us through ordinary symbols without reinforcing guilt or specialness. A personal story shared by the producer helps ground the lesson’s message in lived experience. Comments or questions? Email me at acim@theworldharmonyproject.org. Healing Is But Another Name For God.” They discuss why the lesson’s directness leaves little to analyze and instead brings attention to where students hesitate to rely fully on calling without conditions. The conversation focuses on how suffering, preparation, and delay quietly remain meaningful even when the lesson itself feels clear. Comments or questions?
