Description

Welcome to TWINHOOD… the ultimate twin podcast you didn’t know you needed.

Hosted by chart-topping singer-songwriter MAISIE PETERS, and her corporate queen, brutally honest, should’ve-been-the-real-star non identical twin ELLEN PETERS. Born 15 minutes apart (with Ellen proudly holding the “older twin” title), this podcast celebrates the chaos, charm, and contradictions of twin life — but not in the way you’d expect.

Think of them as your unofficial sisters. Living together in their beloved flat (affectionately known as ‘Flattie‘), Maisie and Ellen welcome you into their wonderfully chaotic world - serving up sisterly advice, unfiltered opinions, and the occasional pearl of wisdom. With weekly listener dilemmas and segments like ‘Twinning or Binning’ and ‘Something of the Week’, Twinhood is your go-to guide for navigating adulthood — one laugh, debate, and sisterly squabble at a time.

At the heart of TWINHOOD is something more than twin banter and cheeky gossip — it’s about real connection.

Each week, Maisie and Ellen open up their inbox to listener-submitted dilemmas, offering honest, thoughtful advice with the kind of sisterly warmth (and bluntness) only they can deliver.

Whether it’s a crisis at work, a friendship fallout, or a love life spiral, the Peters sisters approach every problem with honesty, empathy, and the kind of sisterly perspective that makes you feel truly seen. They don’t claim to have all the answers, but they’ll walk through the mess with you — talking it through with empathy, humour, and a whole lot of heart.

Launching on the day they were born, Twinhood is the latest thing Maisie and Ellen have decided to share — after a birthday, a flat, and a lifetime of chaos.

Two sisters, one flat and zero filters.

This week, Maisie is dialling in from Melbourne and on vocal rest and Ellen from flattie, also belovingly known as ‘the love palace’… we explain why along with discussing new mug purchases, Ellen cooking a whole shoulder of pork for dinner, and bonding with Maisie’s boyfriend over startup marketing strategies. We dive into tour life, jet lag chaos, and Maisie’s “beach goth” energy in Australia, where she refuses to go in the ocean despite everyone else diving in. We also recap hilarious tour moments like accidentally eating sandwiches in what turned out to be a children’s school playground during a promo day.Plus: big Love Palace updates (including a promotion celebration), travel plans for the upcoming LA show, Ellen’s blonde hair reveal, and the mystery Australian gift chosen for Ellen by fans during a VIP Q&A. double the trouble Friday treat for you cousins, our first Friday episode! We answer 10 of your hard hitting questions and there’s plenty more where that came from 😙 Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Welcome to the first ever remote, online and slightly chaotic episode of Twinhood!! Recorded eight hours apart (one of us in London, one of us in Australia), we dive straight into the universal “cannon experience” every girl in her twenties inevitably has — cannonball? canon event? we’re still figuring it out… before unpacking our extremely glam, extremely rain-soaked night at the premiere of Wuthering Heights. There were £10 umbrellas, chest to the wind moments in Leicester Square and Ellen playing the perfect nepo sister. Post-premiere, we endured a 45 minute situationship with an Addison Lee driver that ultimately ended in a mini fight, we hailed a black cab like it was Sex and the City, and posted a Getty image at 1% battery because sometimes one strong photo says it all. We also catch up on Ellen’s trip to the Arizona desert, Maisie’s Australian adventures & find out why Twinhood is officially going twice weekly — because if there are two of us, you deserve double the chaos!! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
This week is a bit of a special one, Maisie is down under and Ellen is just down bad with jet lag from her big corporate queen trip to the desert, so we’ve dug out an old unseen episode that we recorded this time last year. Engagements, ruched leggings to work, we play a little twin game, Ellen talks about Subway & I think you all will understand why this episode was in the lost files for a while….Enjoy going down memory lane and see you next week xx Hosted on Acast. This week, we’re back for another episode (with a glass of wine in hand), because it’s been a day. First things first: we address the elephant in the room, & why Maisie’s in her My Regards cap due to the state of her roots. Hair is everything, until it let’s you down.Ellen explains why she’s only letting Twinhood followers into Maisie’s fan events moving forward and we discuss which dates she will be attending on Maisie’s tour (asterix on the tour poster at the ready!!).  We also get into the reality of not being able to pop to the cornershop for a pint of milk anymore (and yes, the cornershop men update — they’re actual cousins). We talk Ellen’s first premiere, why she’s skipping the Bondi Sands tan (it’s what Emily Brontë would want), the Wrighty Pie, and why 2026 is officially the year of the horse.. & also a short book. It’s giving bobloresence. Wigloresence. We’re learning big words this episode, enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Trailers, traybakes and neposister allegations set the tone of this weeks ep, Maisie breaks some very important news about her trailer edit and there’s something Ellen needs to tell Maisie… and yes, it involves lip products. We catch up about all things Maisie’s album trailer filming and Ellen’s special cameo (& Queen Ellen took annual leave for a role that kept getting upgraded — from girl on bench to to florist to the ultimate role - A BRIDE TO BE! If you know you know…We’re slipping and falling into blank street, Maisie breaks down the My Regards music video (yes, Benito Skinner) and debuts a dance routine that Ellen officially approves as ‘fine’ & starts a petition to get the My Regards dance on Just Dance. Plus: housemaid chats, cinema films Ellen loves, Oscar noms, how Ellen’s traybakes bring everyone together (traybake is family), racing through a payment plan, musicians who don’t pay their TV licence and finally… we get boring and decide what we want for dinner. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
We’re back for season 2, episode 2 and this week, we’re giving party on top, wfh on the bottom as we sit on the sofa fresh from the Emirates stadium!! and yap about the best day of Ellen’s life… meeting Arsenal’s very own footballing queen, legend, icon - Chloe Kelly!!!Maisie organised a full pitch tour & Ellen lived her best corporate box life, all whilst meeting  Arsenal’s Chloe Kelly - a footballing queen, legend & icon that gave Ellen the best day of her life…! We’re talking stolen phones at Arsenal, attempted sits in the manager’s chair, post meeting CK regrets, and Ellen pitching a very serious Arsenal brand partnership. Ellen can’t stop smiling, can’t stop touching grass, and is still deciding whether she’s a soft glam girl now. Meanwhile, Maisie still isn’t paying for the food shop, but has received her Solomon trainers… purchased over retail price from Ellen. Also on the menu: slow roasted leg of lamb (Twinhood = big carnivores), a shoutout to British GQ, Mahalia love, Ellen’s upcoming cameo, and Maisie’s new single My Regards dropping this Friday. Plus we finally (sort of) learn how to play our own game of twinning or binning - it’s a fun one! xxx Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
We’re backkkkkk, did you miss us? Cos we missed you!! Live from Flattie, we’re back with A CHEEKY BIT O GOSSIP on all things Maisie’s brand new album being announced, and Ellen’s unlikely cameo in the album trailer…We unpack the meaning of florescence (and spell it out), chat Over-25s X Factor energy (mature grown up energy), and Maisie recites the tracklist from heart (& Ellen sings her favourite tracks…!). There’s Lucky 15 logic, things happening exactly 15 minutes apart, trailer filming with Amelia, and the all-important question: does Ellen finally get her camera moment and soft glam? Expect flying house rabbits, Ellen discovering the pod is 5 stars on Spotify, a corporate rant, payment plans and Twinhood’s first ever upcoming press piece in the Sunday Times! We play He’s a 10, take our time easing into the year, and end up right where we should be — a little confused on how to play our own game Twinning or Binning, proud sister (and neposister) energy, and back with our lovely cousins in Twinhood - verse. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
It’s only right to end season 1 on episode 31, the last day of the year! We’re taking a very short break for Ellen to brush her hair and Maisie to finish mp3 planning, but fear not cousins - we’ll be back at the end of January for more twinning shenanigans. It’s nearly a year since we started thinking about making twinhood and we’re so overwhelmed for all of the love, support and little community we’ve built - it’s only just the beginning! This week, we talk about Ellen’s preferred camera angles, episodes that never got released (keep an eye out on socials this week and we might just share some clips…), soft glam, MP3 being born next year, Ubers and our new years resolutions. It wouldn’t be a new years episode without more decorations, but we did lose the a in transit… so APPY NEW YEAR!!!CHAT TO US!We’d love to hear from you, email us your dilemmas on hello@twinhoodpodcast.comWatch and listen to us every Wednesday, available on all podcast platforms and You Tube!FOLLOW US: @twinhoodpodcast everywhere!Join our goodreads group! https://shorturl.at/8qV3b Hosted on Acast. It’s CHRISTMASSSSSS (eve) and we’re in full festive mode on this weeks episode, with Ellen in her PJs and Maisie in her Cameron Diaz esque The Holiday jumper! It’s a huge first for us this year as we won’t be spending Christmas together, so we catch up with you cousins and talk all things Selfridges advent calendar, Maisie’s rat ring, house rabbit related gifts from Twinhood HQ and Ellen’s worst Christmas present she’s ever received (& yes, it’s hair related!).We also get a little more reflective on this episode, remembering that Christmas is also a time for gratitude, showing up for the people we love, and remembering that it isn’t the same for everyone. However you spend or celebrate it cousins, we’re here for you and wishing everyone a merry christmas. We’re bringing you some December joy this week, featuring an unexpected car alarm cameo (sorry cousins 😭). We talk about our inner voices, lip balms, girlies wearing heels in New York & Ellen asks the truly hard-hitting questions about Glee. We can confirm that no, those aren’t Santa’s bells — it’s still the car alarm….We debrief the Mumford & Sons gig, chat all things Maisie’s incredible Radio 1 Live Lounge performance, her Nashville trip and playing matchmaker to her tour manager harry, who got married!!! (With a slight threat from Ellen that Maisie must cry at her wedding). Diving into Spotify Wrapped, we also go through Twinhood’s first year of Spotify wrapped, and of course share our own very personal wrapped (spoiler: expect Jensen McRae, Taylor Swift, Robbie Williams and Glee cast… of course!!). You might remember we had Maisie day a couple of weeks ago, so it was only right that it was Ellen day - an episode solely focused (more than usual) on our queen Ellen! Ellen steps fully into her glam era flashing her Space NK name badge to anyone who will listen, we chat about her leg of lamb and why here boyfriends Mum is campaigning to boost her follower count, Ellen’s least favourite Maisie song, her Christmas list, what she’d wear to the Grammys, and plans for the Twinhood red carpet debut. We create a new philosophy on impacting not influencing, Ellen debuts her sleigh queen slippers, Maisie chats all things GQ Man Of The Year goss and the cousins are in uproar after Ellen dares to post a before glam pic with no after. As you’ll hear in the beginning of this weeks episode, we sadly lost our incredible Granny after we recorded this episode. Towards the end of her life, she developed Dystonia and in memory of her, wanted to leave this link as promised in the description.https://www.dystonia.org.uk/donateIt’s thankful season here at Twinhood, and we’re celebrating our American cousins by sharing our wildly chaotic lists of what we’re thankful for… send yours in too! We give thanks for sisters, flatties and nobbly bobbly ice creams, while Ellen, who loves love, pays tribute to our mum, the logistics GOAT who keeps her functioning. We chat about Maisie’s singing and rhyming skills, and her gratitude for zen vibes and clear skin, all while giggling our way through life.We dive into Black Friday favourites as Ellen lives out her YouTube fantasy and reminds everyone you’re allowed a treat. Our show and tell is chaos & features Ellen’s passionate ode to her lemon press and a Highland cow doorstop. Maisie casually mentions she’s read fifty-three books this year (including the Booker Prize list) while Ellen defends her water flosser chat. We wrap up with our love for Lumies, Kindles and crowning our personal GOAT of the year!CHAT TO US!We’d love to hear from you, email us your dilemmas on hello@twinhoodpodcast.comWatch and listen to us every Wednesday, available on all podcast platforms and You Tube!FOLLOW US: @twinhoodpodcast everywhere!Join our goodreads group! https://shorturl.at/8qV3b Hosted on Acast. We unwrap an early Christmas treat this week & fresh from her Zane Lowe interview, Maisie chats all things about her brand new song ‘Say My Name In Your Sleep!!’ We get into whether this new era is an egobirth and Maisie lets us in on the writing process — yes, sometimes it’s paper, sometimes it’s laptop. Co - written by the absolute king Marcus Mumford (or ‘Jason’ as lovingly renamed by Ellen…!), we’ve officially declared this episode as Maisie day! Ellen steps into her new role as head of question curation after bravely sorting through your Insta story submissions, and she renews her annual request that Maisie plays the O2 so she can sit in a box and then go to All Bar One after (always a relatable queen). We talk about Ellen’s heartfelt plea to be trusted with a puppy, we unpack the mystery of people ordering extra-hot drinks & take a little Table Manners podcast detour.Stream Say My Name In Your Sleep immediately cousins x xCHAT TO US!We’d love to hear from you, email us your dilemmas on hello@twinhoodpodcast.comWatch and listen to us every Wednesday, available on all podcast platforms and You Tube!FOLLOW US: @twinhoodpodcast everywhere!Join our goodreads group! https://shorturl.at/8qV3b Hosted on Acast. Winter is coming… and so is Maisie’s Game of Thrones era. We chat all things Maisie’s doppelgänger - @maisiewilliams, we spiral into talk of MAFS, Ellen’s new discovery of water flossers, and the horrifying realisation that we have to exercise and floss for the rest of our lives. We’re having a large Toblerone just to cope with the thought, in the name of balance of course. We check in on our twenties — the confidence crisis of being 25, the sliding scale of brat, and what it really means to chase your bliss. There’s a spooky pie, a philosophical detour, and the controversial claim that eating Brussels sprouts might just earn you a number one single.CHAT TO US!We’d love to hear from you, email us your dilemmas on hello@twinhoodpodcast.comWatch and listen to us every Wednesday, available on all podcast platforms and You Tube!FOLLOW US: @twinhoodpodcast everywhere!Join our goodreads group! https://shorturl.at/8qV3b Hosted on Acast. In this week’s episode, Ellen’s riding high on her newfound mastery of colour theory, while Maisie’s still recovering from the great Où Est le Poulet game, & no - it’s not a small plates restaurant. Before the Bloom show and a New York minute later, we catch up on our latest shenanigans - including Ellen’s smear test story (sorry producer Paul!), planning a Just Dance night complete with picky bits, PT sessions and we decide that our fitness goal is… just to have a good time together. Plus, we get into stolen jewellery at the Louvre connection with Ellen’s love for engagement rings, and a shiver runs through Maisie as we react to your comments from Ellen’s insta story rampage. Somewhere in between all that, a mysterious new word - Bograttoad - is born. Enjoy! This week we come to you with the most request episode of all… we’re marking your essays! When Maisie first released Audrey Hepburn / You You You - we set YOU our beloved cousins the task of completing a 12 marker, and boy did you deliver. Between grading lyrical theories and (still) teaching ellen what an ego death is, we discover new meanings in Maisie’s words while slipping into classic Peters chaos: rants about bad curly-hair days, flashbacks to GCSE trauma, and Ellen’s childhood obsession with fake glasses purely for the aesthetic. Just another day in the flattie for us. scented (naturally) like a forest and sprinkled with tangents, tea, and twin telepathy x xCHAT TO US!We’d love to hear from you, email us your dilemmas on hello@twinhoodpodcast.comWatch and listen to us every Wednesday, available on all podcast platforms and You Tube!FOLLOW US: @twinhoodpodcast everywhere!Join our goodreads group! https://shorturl.at/8qV3b Hosted on Acast. Live from Flattie and slightly hungover on an attention comedown, we’re debriefing the absolute whirlwind that was Maisie’s two headline London shows - the first in 2 years! It’s been a huge couple of days for Maisie… but somehow an even bigger couple of days for Ellen.Join us as we unpack it all: from barefoot stage moments (yes, the dogs were out) to Ellen turning every conversation back to Olly Murs, interviewing fans in the queue, and Maisie giving Ellen access to the Twinhood socials…We play out your lovely messages live from the queue to Maisie, and she also has a surprise for Ellen! Stay for the ending of the pod, as it turns slightly chaotic with a change of lighting (You Tube viewers will see it in all its glory!) and Ellen’s uber is waiting outside… enjoy!CHAT TO US!We’d love to hear from you, email us your dilemmas on hello@twinhoodpodcast.comWatch and listen to us every Wednesday, available on all podcast platforms and You Tube!FOLLOW US: @twinhoodpodcast everywhere!Join our goodreads group! https://shorturl.at/8qV3b Hosted on Acast. We’re wanting to keep you fed, so this episode was recorded a couple of days before Maisie released her single(s!!!) and played her London shows! It’s now officially autumn and this week marks our 20th episode, so we play 20 questions submitted by you!!It’s been a New York minute since we caught up, & we talk about our millennial queen Ellen calling maisie in the middle of the night to find out how to take music of an insta post (plot twist, you can’t), maisie’s flight shenanigans to Singapore and how it’s going to be a legging winter for the girls. Twinhood LLC thought Ellen got engaged in New York (another plot twist, she didn’t) and we’ve given Producer Paul the mic this week - it’s giving the wizard and I.
