Ross Hecox has been able to build a business that combines his two passions, writing and horses. You’ve probably read some of Ross’s work in popular magazines like Western Horseman or maybe listened to his podcast Cowboy Life. He had a passion for horses at an early age but also fell in love with storytelling so he got out of school and went to work for a magazine in the equine world. From there he worked his way to Western Horseman which at the time was the biggest publication around in the industry. KC Jones started out as just a farm kid but quickly got interested in horses and rodeoing. While his main event became steer wrestling he also roped. He rodeoed through college and after but never really saw himself as one of the guys at the top. After some big accomplishments he realized he could actually make the NFR and after he set his mind to it he did multiple times. Having an entrepreneurial mind kicked in and he realized there needed to be an official after party for the NFR on the strip. He also wanted to promote his new game Pro Fantasy Rodeo. Matt Hamilton was raised in a small farming and ranching community and he was able to see a couple things pretty early the manipulation of the agriculture industry from big money and he also learned the power of sales. He spent many years in a variety of sales jobs that helped him develop some of the skills needed to be a small business owner.
