In 1977, the small town of Jacksonville, Alabama was shaken when a young couple, Donna Tucker & Mark Martin were attacked by a gunman in Germania Springs Park. This was a huge escalation to a series of similar crimes on young people in this town. There were no suspects until a local named John Ellis Sparks gave ABI agents plenty of reasons to suspect him. I love listening to these girls podcasts but I find it interesting that whenever they get to a part about a guy cheating on a girl they have all these negative things to say about him and how he's a piece of shit but when they get to a part about a girl cheating on a guy they don't even acknowledge how bad it is they just gloss over it like it's a regular part of the story and they don't say anything.
