Recitation by Qari Ustaz Muhammad bin Mustaffa, Champion of the Adult Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).55أَلَا إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَUnquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know.56هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَHe gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned.57يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَO mankind, there has come to you an instruction from your Lord and a healing for what is in the hearts, and guidance and mercy for the believers.58قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا ۖ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَSay, “In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy – in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate.”

Recitation by Qariah Ustazah Atiiqah Suhaimi, Champion of the Adult Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).185شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَThe month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’an was revealed as guidance for humanity, with clear proofs of guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever among you witnesses the month should fast it. But whoever is ill or on a journey, then an equal number of other days. Allah intends ease for you, not hardship, so that you may complete the prescribed period and glorify Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.186وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَAnd when My servants ask you concerning Me—indeed I am near. I respond to the call of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me, so that they may be rightly guided.

Recitation by Qariah Darweesyah Najmuddeen, Champion of the Youth Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).190إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِIndeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for people of understanding.191الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِThose who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth, saying, “Our Lord, You did not create this without purpose. Glory be to You, so protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”192رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍOur Lord, indeed whoever You admit into the Fire—you have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.193رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِOur Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, saying, “Believe in your Lord,” and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins, remove from us our misdeeds, and cause us to die with the righteous.

Recitation by Qariah Ustazah Atiiqah Suhaimi, Champion of the Adult Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).83وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَAnd (mention) Ayyub (Job), when he called to his Lord, “Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.”84فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِن ضُرٍّ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَابِدِينَSo We responded to him and removed what afflicted him of harm. And We restored his family to him, and the like thereof with them, as a mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers.85وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِدْرِيسَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ ۖ كُلٌّ مِّنَ الصَّابِرِينَAnd (mention) Isma'il, Idris, and Dhul-Kifl; all were among the patient.86وَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا ۖ إِنَّهُم مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَAnd We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous.87وَذَا النُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَىٰ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَن لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَAnd (mention) Dhun-Nun (Yunus), when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree upon him. Then he called out within the darknesses: “There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.”88فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَSo We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.

Recitation by Qariah Darweesyah Najmuddeen, Champion of the Youth Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).115قَالُوا يَا مُوسَىٰ إِمَّا أَن تُلْقِيَ وَإِمَّا أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ الْمُلْقِينَThey said, “O Musa (Moses), either you throw (your staff) first, or we will be the ones to throw.”116قَالَ أَلْقُوا ۖ فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْا سَحَرُوا أَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَاءُوا بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍHe said, “Throw.” So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck them with awe, and they produced a great magic.117وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۖ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَAnd We inspired to Musa, “Throw your staff,” and suddenly it swallowed what they were falsifying.118فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَSo the truth was established, and what they were doing was made worthless.119فَغُلِبُوا هُنَالِكَ وَانقَلَبُوا صَاغِرِينَSo they were defeated right there and returned humiliated.120وَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَAnd the magicians fell down in prostration.121قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَThey said, “We believe in the Lord of the worlds,”122رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ“The Lord of Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron).”123قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ آمَنتُم بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَّكَرْتُمُوهُ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوا مِنْهَا أَهْلَهَا ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَPharaoh said, “You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, this is a plot you have plotted in the city to drive its people out, but you will come to know.”

Recitation by Qariah Ustazah Atiiqah Suhaimi, Champion Qariah of the Adult Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).26كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍEveryone upon the earth will perish.27وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِAnd there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.28فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?29يَسْأَلُهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍWhoever is within the heavens and the earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.30فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?31سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَا الثَّقَلَانِWe will attend to you, O two kinds of beings (jinn and humans).32فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?33يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍO company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority.34فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?35يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِThere will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.36فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?37فَإِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِAnd when the heaven is split open and becomes rosy like oil.38فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?39فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَانٌThen on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.40فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?41يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِThe criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.42فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?43هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَThis is Hell which the criminals denied.44يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍThey will circulate between it and scalding water, heated to the utmost.45فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?46وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِBut for he who fears the standing before his Lord are two gardens.47فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?48ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍHaving spreading branches.49فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِSo which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny?

Indeed, man surely transgresses7أَن رَّآهُ اسْتَغْنَىٰBecause he sees himself self-sufficient.8إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعَىٰIndeed, to your Lord is the return.9أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَىٰHave you seen the one who forbids10عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰA servant when he prays?11أَرَأَيْتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰHave you seen if he is upon guidance12أَوْ أَمَرَ بِالتَّقْوَىٰOr enjoins righteousness?13أَرَأَيْتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰHave you seen if he denies and turns away—14أَلَمْ يَعْلَم بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَرَىٰDoes he not know that Allah sees?15كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًا بِالنَّاصِيَةِNo! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock—16نَاصِيَةٍ كَاذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍA lying, sinful forelock.17فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُThen let him call his associates.18سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَWe will call the angels of Hell.19كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبNo! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near (to Allah).

Recitation by Qari Uwais Qarni, Champion of the Youth Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).284لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَإِن تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُم بِهِ اللَّهُ ۖ فَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌTo Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Whether you reveal what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it. Then He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is over all things competent.285آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُThe Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the believers. All of them believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers, saying, “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord; and to You is the final return.”

Recitation by Qari Uwais Qarni, Champion of the Youth Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).35اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ الْمِصْبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ الزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِيءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ ۗ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ لِنُورِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌAllah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp; the lamp is in glass, the glass as if it were a shining star, lit from the oil of a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.36فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَن تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِIn houses which Allah has permitted to be raised and that His Name be mentioned therein; exalting Him within them in the morning and the evening.

Recitation by Qari Ustaz Muhammad bin Mustaffa, Champion of the Adult Category at the 2025 Majlis Tilawah, Tahfiz and Tadabbur Al-Quran (MTTTQ).1إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِIndeed, We sent it (the Qur’an) down during the Night of Decree.2وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِAnd what can make you know what the Night of Decree is?3لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍThe Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.4تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍThe angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.5سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِPeace it is until the emergence of dawn.

You are only being recompensed for what you used to do.8يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِي اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ ۖ نُورُهُمْ يَسْعَىٰ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌO you who believe, turn to Allah in sincere repentance. It may be that your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right, and they will say, “Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things capable.”
