Feeling trapped in the "impossible" can be one of life’s most discouraging experiences. When everything feels out of reach, and the answers don’t come, it’s easy to lose hope. The good news is God has the power to turn the impossible on its head; sometimes, we just have to learn to listen.
We all focus on our goals and the destinations in life, but it's important to recognize the purpose of our next step rather than being fixated on the last step.
We've all been there, we make a plan, do everything right, but despite the effort, completely miss the goal and miss the point of all of the actions we've taken. If we're not careful, the dumb mistakes we make with a shopping cart can look too much like our spiritual life.
Join our conversation as we discuss the book of Joel, a minor prophet who issued a clear call to repentance and return to intimacy with God.
The book of Micah calls for repentance and self-reflection, though it does not end there. Micah offers hope for tomorrow and encouragement to move forward in faith and pursue a meaningful relationship with God.
As you dig into the book of Micah, it becomes apparent that Micah has much more to say to our world today than the average person would assume. From compromised morality to corruption and a call for the nation to repent, Micah's words of warning and hope should not be undervalued.
Ever feel like your momentum was suddenly stolen? You were moving forward, doing the right things, and then life hit pause. This week, we talk about our new series and how to respond when progress is interrupted—and regain what’s been lost.
We all face situations and circumstances we'd rather avoid. The good news is that this phenomenon is nothing new. As King Solomon said, "nothing new under the sun." So this week, as we reflect on our own circumstances, we look to God's word and see the model left for all of us as we learn to trust in the midst of a crisis.
Need a little New Year motivation and tips? Join us as we share our own experiences and discuss how to make this year a better one spiritually.
Last Sunday, we took time to stop and reflect on the series of 2025 and the challenges it presented to each of us. Today, three of us sit down and discuss our own personal reflection on 2025, the messages, and the things we are praying for in 2026.
This week marks the end of our Simply Christmas reflections. As we talk about the lights of Christmas and how they serve as a gentle reminder of the powerful truth of Christmas.
As we age, it is easy to lose the sense of childlike wonder that once came so naturally, especially at Christmas. As we reflect on last week's message, we discuss the struggle to keep a proper perspective and allow the meaning of Christmas to impact our lives.
In the most recent message, we discussed the Christmas Tree—the origins of using an evergreen in a home during winter, and the symbolism behind it. Join us as we reflect on the message and how this Christmas symbol can remind us of what truly matters during this season.
Time for something a little different! This week, join Pastor Brent's family as they talk about Thanksgiving, Christmas, and their personal reflections on gratitude at Christmas.
Join us as we sit down on the comfy couch and talk about what it's like to have intimacy with God, following the message from Pastor Dan Seaborn.
Join the conversation as we reflect on this season of gratitude and consider how a life rooted in faith can shape and encourage the people around us.
Faith, vision & uncertainty are tied directly to one another, and in this episode, following the message, "Vision for the Future", we sit down to reflect on the week and the potential path forward.
Looking back on the message "Dig for the Key", we tackle subjects from our daily spiritual habits, married life, and being on mission to share our faith.
What matters to you? If you answer that question honestly, do your actions and your words line up? This week, as we reflect on the message from Haggai 1, we encounter Judah at a time when their own personal priorities superseded the things of God and the consequences that followed.
When you hear the phrase “No Perfect People Allowed,” what comes to mind? Hypocrisy or an invitation to humbly connect with God? In this episode of the podcast, we discuss these ideas and how these ideas play out in our lives.
