What a thrilling, hard-fought victory for Palace! This team simply refuses to give up. Fulham's equaliser was a moment of quality, but it only served to fire up our boys.Adam Wharton ran the midfield, and Eddie Nketiah's opener was a beautifully taken goal. Then, in the 87th minute, who else but captain Marc Guéhi stepped up! A bullet header to seal the 2-1 win and launch us into the Top Four.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/holmesdaleradio. Palace ground out a gritty 1–0 at Burnley, the sort of away win that tastes even sweeter because Turf Moor usually feels like playing football inside a windy toaster. We weren’t vintage, but we were solid, stubborn and just sharp enough when it mattered. Burnley huffed, puffed and basically built a flat-pack siege, but Palace managed it calmly and pinched the decisive moment. A proper smash-and-grab vibe, and exactly the kind of result you need if you’re pushing on. A win’s a win — and this one felt earned.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/holmesdaleradio. Palace looked leggy from the start, and it showed. The intensity wasn’t there, the press was a step slow, and United took full advantage. Even then, we stayed in the game and made them work for it, but fatigue told in the key moments. A frustrating one, because it felt more about tired bodies than any real gulf in quality.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/holmesdaleradio. Hosted on Acast. Palace welcome United at Selhurst Park on Sunday (12:00GMT). We're flying in 5th, just two points above 10th-placed United. Amorim's lot have only one win in their last 11 away games, and arrive short handed.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/holmesdaleradio. Hosted on Acast. Crystal Palace were unlucky to lose 2-1 in Strasbourg, controlling long spells and creating the better chances. Palace pressed intelligently, moved the ball with purpose and looked the Premier League side throughout. A late lapse cost them, but the performance showed quality, resilience and clear superiority despite the scoreline today.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/holmesdaleradio. Hosted on Acast. Crystal Palace produced a mature, disciplined away performance at Molineux, managing Wolves with smart pressing, tidy possession and sharp counters. Both goals came from precise movement and confident finishing, showcasing a team in full control of the tempo. The back line stayed organised throughout, shutting down danger early. A calm, clinical 2-0 victory that felt fully earned and quietly impressive.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/holmesdaleradio. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
This weekend, Crystal Palace travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers hoping to fly home with all three points. The Eagles' defence has been resolute, and with momentum building they'll look to impose themselves early. Expect a dog-fight, but Palace's resilience could turn the tide in their favour.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/holmesdaleradio. Hosted on Acast. Selhurst purring, Palace bossed Brentford from first whistle. Compact shape, crisp passing, and ruthless transitions earned a deserved 2-0. The press hemmed the Bees in, full-backs flew, and midfield snapped into everything. Clinical finishing, rock-solid defending, and game management. A comfortable, confident win that felt like lift-off in SE25. Superb.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/holmesdaleradio. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
