Ever been terribly thirsty. Pastor Ray Bentley says that's built in by God. Why did he make us with this deep desire for water? Because it's a spiritual lesson. Even as there is a time when only pure cold water will satisfy your bodily thirst. So the Holy Spirit alone will satisfy the need and the craving of your soul spreading. You see all of these people coming down before the King.
Coming up today, pastor Ray Bentley offers a biblical tour of heaven, and we may be surprised at the rich colors that will surround us. I don't know why we everybody has this weird imagination that heaven is everything is white. No, nothing could be further from the truth. There is more color, brilliance. God is in to color now. He loves white. He loves light, but he loves all the other colors.
After the rapture. After the millennium, God has an even bigger plan. Pastor Ray Bentley explains, today God creates a new heaven and a new earth, and a new Jerusalem comes from God out of heaven to the earth. And where is it? He puts it right where he wanted it. From the very beginning, on top of a great high mountain. And oh, what a city this will be. It will be unlike anything you have ever seen.
Pastor Ray Bentley offers a picture of what life will be like in heaven. Imagine this every day for the rest of eternity. There will be nothing to be depressed about. All that will be gone. Sorrow won't be there. Tears won't be there. And there's another thing that won't be there. Death won't be. And the kingdom of heaven. You will never. Once you get to heaven. You will never go to another funeral. The rest of eternity.
Coming up today, pastor Ray Bentley explains just what draws us to heaven. Our citizenship is in heaven, and our Heavenly Father is there. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is there. Our divine Comforter, the Holy Spirit is there. All of our loved ones who have gone before us are there. Our reward is there and our eternal future is there.
Pastor Ray Bentley takes us to the Great White Throne Judgment in the Book of Revelation. This has been described as the most serious, sobering, and tragic scene in the entire Bible. It is the final reckoning of God and fallen humanity that was originally made in his image and after his likeness that he made every provision for their forgiveness and salvation, but for whatever reason chose to reject him.
Pastor Ray Bentley with a snapshot of life during the millennium. God's going to let the animals roam free throughout the planet. They'll be cruising right down your neighborhood. You're a little kid, a mommy, a lion, and go, okay, honey. Have fun. See you later. Now, wouldn't you love to hug a big Ole lion, a hug if it wasn't going to bite your head off? I could give a big Ole bear a hug and have a real bear hug.
Pastor Ray Bentley on our unquenchable thirst for peace. From the beginning of time, man has searched for peace. We have had many peace movements. We have marched for peace. We have even gone to war for the sake of peace. Peace will only come when the Prince of Peace comes and his feet touch the Mount of Olives. And everything will change.
Pastor Ray Bentley explains how Jesus will be the victor of a great battle during the tribulation. But I want you to note here that King's Road, White horses in times of war, especially after victory. What's amazing about this is this is the beginning of the battle and he just shows up. He's already on the white horse. In other words, when he appears, it's over. There's no battle. He just appears as the Conqueror. It's already over.
Pastor Ray Bentley on the faithfulness of the Lord. We may feel at times that the Lord has turned his back on us, or that we've done something so wrong. No, he says, I will never leave you. I'm there whether you see me or not. I'm there whether you feel me or not. I'll never abandon you. You are never going to be alone. That's why I left.
Pastor Ray Bentley says we can learn a lot about Bible prophecy by considering the customs of ancient Jewish weddings. Remember this story of the ten virgins? Five were wise, five were foolish, five had oil to watch through the night. Five didn't have enough oil. They had to go get some. And they missed the moment when the wedding was to begin. So all of these stories and all of these parables have meaning that comes from that original Jewish wedding spread.
Let me put it in. In simple language. Sin doesn't work. It deceives. It tricks. When you say, oh, I'm trapped. I don't like this anymore. It laughs at you as you go down the tubes. Pastor Ray Bentley on sin versus righteousness. Sin doesn't work. Righteousness and walking with God fulfills every dream and desire of your heart. Look, nobody wants you to be more happy, more in love, more filled with joy, and more filled with peace than your father in heaven spread.
Babylon is not the only name of an ancient city, but Babylon is also a symbol of mankind's rebellion against God. Pastor Ray Bentley comments on the biblical destruction of Babylon. Whatever it is that does in the end destroy this city in one day and one hour. The fact that it is destroyed in a moment gives those who observe it pause.
Pastor Ray Bentley points out, during the Great Tribulation, politics overtakes religion, and the Antichrist overtakes it all at that time when that happens. One of the things that makes the Great Tribulation so horrific and terrible is that Satan will be allowed to have more control over the earth than he has ever had before, but God is watching it, overseeing it, limiting it, and ultimately using it to spread.
Pastor Ray Bentley says in the last days, world religions began to homogenize and blend together. The Antichrist is in that he is part of it and uses religion to gain the trust of the world. But listen, when she is no longer necessary, he will consume her. Ultimately, Paul the Apostle wrote that the Antichrist will present himself as a God, and he will do so in a rebuilt temple of Jerusalem
Pastor Ray Bentley points out, the Lord is coming back and he's not letting anyone or anything hold him back. There is nothing that the world can do to stop my kingdom from coming or answering the prayers of my children. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The devil can't stop me. The Antichrist can't stop me. The beast can't stop me. Mystery Babylon can't stop me. I'm coming and my will shall be done. And that's it.
Pastor Ray Bentley says Babylon is a biblical story that stretches from the past, through the present to the future. This Babylonian religion that started in Babel and its tentacles grew into a world empire, still is in the world today and will still be present in the future. At the time of the coming of the Lord. This cultic religion and influence passed down from generation to generation, spread disease.
Revelation describes a great earthquake coming up today. Pastor Ray Bentley says it means Satan's kingdom is finished. This devastating earthquake will impact all the major cities of all the nations of the Earth, and it essentially means Satan's entire system is now judged by God. The whole thing just is collapsed by God and through this earthquake. Yeah. It's finished.
Coming up today, pastor Ray Bentley highlights number five of the seven bold judgments of the Book of Revelation. This Fifth Judgment is God pouring darkness on the kingdom of the beast. It seems to me that in this fifth bowl judgment that the Lord is saying to the world, you love darkness. Okay, then you can have it. You can have it literally.
Pastor Ray Bentley takes us to the time of the tribulation when Satan's kingdom is in peril. How do the forces of darkness respond during that time of the tribulation? The Antichrist church? He has to blame somebody because his empire is beginning to implode. And so he has a scapegoat. He says it's the followers of Jesus Christ, and he persecutes them, hunts them, haunts them, kills them and sheds their blood, and spreads disease.
