Description

This is Cutting Through The Nonsense podcasts from Hasler-White Inclusive Facilitation.

This podcast is for third, social and community sector leaders - with, at times, an East Anglian focus.

The aim is to bring hope, inspiration and new ideas to the sector and its leaders.

In an impossible climate for charities and social enterprises, there is a need for quality bite-sized information that is accessible, inclusive and not scary.

It’s lonely and hard out there so in this podcast we will together rid the world, or at least this podcast, of acronyms, jargon and unnecessary negativity.

Focusing on the needs of the business and ensuring, as a social enterprise, that the business achieves on its own merits, are just some of Matt’s many achievements. In this podcast Matt talks us through the businesses that sit under Grace Enterprises and his commitment to creating viable commercial entities - that at the same time change lives.‘Biscuits that change lives’ is perhaps an easy sell, but Matt has taken the business from strength to strength (with a new bakery just opened) thanks to both surrounding himself with diverse voices and trusting them to get on with the job at hand.  But it’s not just about biscuits… Thank you to Matt Parfitt for sharing his approaches, vision and ambition to have a positive impact on as many people facing employment barriers as possible.Matt’s business empire and further details can be found below-       https://www.graceenterprises.co.uk/-       https://www.radiantcleaners.co.uk/-       https://www.jubileeevents.co.uk/-       https://www.halfthestory.uk/We also mentioned social investment and social enterprise support, so here are some more useful links: -      https://www.goodfinance.org.uk -       https://www.sibgroup.org.uk/-       https://www.socialenterprise.org.ukThese podcasts are brought to you by me, Rebecca White of Hasler-White Inclusive Facilitation in partnership with the wonderful people at Future Projects in Norwich. www.haslerwhite.comwww.futureradio.co.ukThe aim is to cut through the nonsense by having no nonsense open acronym-free conversations about all the things I wish I’d had support with when running my social enterprise. It’s now my turn to bring some hope, new ideas and inspiration by speaking to people within my network.More resources and all the podcasts can be found on my website.Find and follow me by heading to:• www.instagram.com/rebkawhite• LinkedIn: Rebecca White• Get in touch for inspiring podcast guests and please share them if you think they might be useful for someone else.• The track on this podcast is called Funk from Icons8

It’s never too soon to think about sustainability. Restrictedincome is, well, very restricting and can make an organisation bend in ways that don’t play to its strengths So looking ahead as a young organisation, whilst scary, can be exciting, motivating and invigorating. In this podcast Chantelle Tyrrell, CEO of Social Moments inNorfolk, looks ahead to diversifying income for reasons of sustainability as well as the exciting opportunities available. Whilst only two years old, Chantelle is already thinking of the organisation as one with diverse income, multiple hubs and even social investment. Thank you to Chantelle Tyrrell for sharing her passion and plans on this podcast.
