Could Kash get any worse? Apparently! And we get to see him hit rock bottom here (hopefully)! Between a vet willing to burn his eye surgery money on strippers and blow (literally), Carrie's need to orgasm in order for "everything to be fine, forever", and Kash abandoning the one person in his hero group that wasn't a complete douche, Penny and Greg break down this fun, yet emotional, episode of this fantastically underwatched show. And we got a racist bunny!!!Check out a bunch of our other great podcasts or leave feedback at www.podcastica.com or https://www.facebook.com/podcastica.

Powered vigilante meetups! Morally ambigious dead country singers! The wonderful discovery of the clitoris! This episode of ExtraOrdinary had it all! Well, perhaps the Kash story line didn't meet our high hopes, but the Margaret Thatcher bit had us rolling and Carrie made us marvel at the ability of a woman to feel herself up like a man would. Join Penny and Greg as we explore this episode of anatomical exploration, politically corrected lyrics, and yes, shame mitts.Check out a bunch of our other great podcasts or leave feedback at www.podcastica.com or https://www.facebook.com/podcastica.

That’s a wrap for season 5! Because of the Daryl show and a few other detours, it took us six months, which was just as long as when we covered it the first time. Lol. Anyway, the season ends with this packed episode that’s a turning point for Alexandria and Rick and the fam, and we were thrilled to have listener Carisa from Portland to talk It out with us. Be sure to listen to the end for some book recommendations.

Other Wax Episodic shows:
We cover these other intelligent, engaging, oftentimes delightfully twisted shows:
Fallout (Amazon): A crazy retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic melange of wholesomeness and depravity. One of the best looking shows on TV, funny as hell, violent AF (but in a cartoony way), and with a great cast, including Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) and Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones). Not to be missed! Hosted by Jason, Kara, and Kasi.
Pluribus (Apple TV): Everyone is transformed into a pleasant hive mind — except for Carol (Rhea Seehorn), the most miserable woman on the planet, who must save the world from happiness. It’s sounds weird, and it is… in the best way. Created by the great Vince Gilligan, of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Hosted by Jason and Karen!
IT: Welcome to Derry (HBO): A fun, scary, and surprisingly great prequel to the 2016 and 2019 IT movies, Pennywise stalks the children of 1962 Derry. A mix of heart, mystery, charm, and some shockingly disturbing Nightmare on Elme Street-esque horror. Cohosted by Shawn of Strange Indeed.
Alien: Earth (FX): From the brilliant Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion), this one really scratches that sci-fi itch. A greedy corporate tech overlord transfers the consciousness of a group of terminally ill children into highly performant synth bodies. And the Xenomorph is in it, too. Also, Tim Olyphant! Hosted by Jason, Kara, and Randy.

In this episode, Kelsey and Gen get dark and personal discussing Surviving Ohio State, the HBO Max documentary directed by Eva Orner, in conjunction with writer/producer Jon Wertheim, writer of the 2020 Sports Illustrated article that this documentary is based on.
Surviving Ohio State looks at the decades-long abuse scandal surrounding Ohio State University and team doctor Richard Strauss, and the athletes who were ignored when they tried to speak up. Through survivor testimony, investigative reporting, and institutional records, the documentary traces how complaints were buried, reputations were protected, and harm was allowed to continue.

Yellowjackets season 4 is still probably at least a year away, but we think the movie Send Help, in theaters now, is a great temporary fix. It’s about a supremely skilled woman who gets overlooked and mistreated by her douchebag of a boss, and then after a plane crash they get stranded on an island where the tables are turned. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, we totally recommend it - it’s wild, and fun, and pretty gruesome, much like a certain show we all love. Join Wendy, Jason, and special guest Karen as we talk it out!

Okie dokey, that’s it for Fallout season 2! We thought it was a great season finale, packed to the rads with answers (the Enclave is behind it all, and the President is one of them), more questions (have Hank and Steph been a thing for 200 years or what?), and as f$%ked up and funny as ever.
Thanks from all three of us to everyone for joining us for this series! What a freaking blast it is, right? It was so much fun to cover, and we especially appreciate those of you who wrote and called in (but we love all of ya).
I (Jason) hope you guys all stick around as Karen and I start with Apple TV’s Severance next week. We’re going back to the beginning and the plan is to cover the whole series, episode-by-episode, spoiler free. What is Severance, you ask? It’s a trippy workplace sci-fi thriller where employees surgically split their work and personal memories, creating two separate versions of themselves. It starts as a clever corporate experiment and develops into an unsettling mystery about identity, control, and rebellion. Smart, stylish, funny, and quietly disturbing, with an incredible cast — Adam Scott, Zach Cherry (!), Britt Lower, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. Hosted by Jason and Karen.
And if you’re looking for something else to dig into, highly recommend checking out any of the other shows this podcast covers. They are…
Pluribus (Apple TV): Everyone is transformed into a pleasant hive mind — except for Carol (Rhea Seehorn), the most miserable woman on the planet, who must save the world from happiness. It’s sounds weird, and it is… in the best way. Created by the great Vince Gilligan, of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Hosted by Jason and Karen!

As A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms reaches its halfway point, Rennie, Veronica, and Wendy return to discuss Episode 3, “The Squire.” This episode of Dragon ’Cast continues the hosts’ thoughtful, long-form coverage of the series as the story and characters continue to take shape.
The discussion focuses on how the episode fits into the larger arc of the season, character relationships as they stand at this midpoint, and the overall tone and direction of the show so far.
The episode concludes with a Book Talk segment comparing the series to George R. R. Martin’s Dunk and Egg novellas. This final segment contains book spoilers, so listeners who wish to remain show-only should stop listening before Book Talk begins.

Pluribus, the Twilight-Zoney Apple TV show from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, covered by me and Karen. (!)
It: Welcome to Derry, the horrific HBO series, prequel to the recent It movies based on the Stephen King book. Covered by me and Shawn of Strange Indeed.
Alien: Earth, the heady, gross-out FX/Hulu sci-fi series based on the Alien movies. Covered by me, Randy, and Kara.

This show hitting close to home for anyone else? It’s another fantastic episode, with Steph’s escape from U.S.-occupied Canada, and a Cooper-Maximus-Thaddeus team-up. We just wish the real world would stop moving closer to Fallout and start seeing it as the warning it is. PS We love you, Canada.

Other Wax Episodic shows:
We cover these other intelligent, engaging, oftentimes delightfully twisted shows:

Don’t know what Discord is? It’s kind of like a chat forum, our own little private Podcastica space to talk about Fallout, Welcome to Derry, Alien: Earth, other shows, and whatever else we want. It’s free, and it’s fun.

In this episode of Dragon ’Cast, Rennie and Wendy return with guest host Alex to break down A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Season 1 Episode 2, “Hard Salt Beef,” an episode that leans heavily into character, memory, and momentum as Dunk continues his quest to enter the tourney circuit.
The discussion centers on Dunk’s shifting recollections of Ser Arlan — what he remembers, what he may be rewriting in his own mind, and how those memories shape his understanding of knighthood and legitimacy. The hosts examine how Dunk’s desire to join the lists reflects both ambition and insecurity, and how the episode balances earnest longing with humor.
Egg once again proves himself an elite wing man, and the panel digs into how his quick thinking, confidence, and social instincts repeatedly smooth Dunk’s rough edges. Wendy unabashedly leans into her growing obsession with Lyonel, while Rennie shares his enthusiasm for how the adaptation is handling tone, character, and pacing so far. Alex highlights the comedic beats of the episode, discussing how humor is used not to undercut the story, but to deepen it.
Next up: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms S1E3 “The Squire”. It’s the series premiere! Once you’ve seen it, we’d love know your thoughts!

for an action packed finale, this recap pod was incredibly low energy and boring
No spoilers but episode 5 ?......
Agreeded with everyone comments. However, Kristen's comments on the female representation really resonated with me and was dead on. Thanks for presenting that point. The writing certainly fell short this season. The actors did absolutely the best they could.
what!? That was HUMAN!? 😱😱😱😱 When was the last time you wanted to murder a city when you've felt bad?
okay sorry, I have to defend Thor. He is a big sweetheart and a wonderful interview. His English isnt 100% but I will ot listen to people trash him! 😜🤣
