Could Kash get any worse? Apparently! And we get to see him hit rock bottom here (hopefully)! Between a vet willing to burn his eye surgery money on strippers and blow (literally), Carrie's need to orgasm in order for "everything to be fine, forever", and Kash abandoning the one person in his hero group that wasn't a complete douche, Penny and Greg break down this fun, yet emotional, episode of this fantastically underwatched show. And we got a racist bunny!!!Check out a bunch of our other great podcasts or leave feedback at www.podcastica.com or https://www.facebook.com/podcastica.

Powered vigilante meetups! Morally ambigious dead country singers! The wonderful discovery of the clitoris! This episode of ExtraOrdinary had it all! Well, perhaps the Kash story line didn't meet our high hopes, but the Margaret Thatcher bit had us rolling and Carrie made us marvel at the ability of a woman to feel herself up like a man would. Join Penny and Greg as we explore this episode of anatomical exploration, politically corrected lyrics, and yes, shame mitts.Check out a bunch of our other great podcasts or leave feedback at www.podcastica.com or https://www.facebook.com/podcastica.

This ep is one of the lower-rated ones this season, but my wonderful guest Rebecca and I found a lot to talk about. Two particularly crucial things about this ep, IMO, are: 1: It’s when the Alexandrians finally come to terms with the world as it is in the ZA, and 2. There’s a really cool sewer zombie! Oh yeah, and Maggie reveals she’s pregnant too :) Enjoy!

Other shows we cover on this podcast:
We cover these other intelligent, engaging, oftentimes delightfully twisted shows:
Fallout (Amazon): A crazy retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic melange of wholesomeness and depravity. One of the best looking shows on TV, funny as hell, violent AF (but in a cartoony way), and with a great cast, including Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) and Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones). Not to be missed! Hosted by Jason, Kara, and Kasi.
Pluribus (Apple TV): Everyone is transformed into a pleasant hive mind — except for Carol (Rhea Seehorn), the most miserable woman on the planet, who must save the world from happiness. It’s sounds weird, and it is… in the best way. Created by the great Vince Gilligan, of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Hosted by Jason and Karen!
IT: Welcome to Derry (HBO): A fun, scary, and surprisingly great prequel to the 2016 and 2019 IT movies, Pennywise stalks the children of 1962 Derry. A mix of heart, mystery, charm, and some shockingly disturbing Nightmare on Elme Street-esque horror. Cohosted by Shawn of Strange Indeed.
Alien: Earth (FX): From the brilliant Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion), this one really scratches that sci-fi itch. A greedy corporate tech overlord transfers the consciousness of a group of terminally ill children into highly performant synth bodies. And the Xenomorph is in it, too. Also, Tim Olyphant! Hosted by Jason, Kara, and Randy.

Penny and Sam have a lot of laughs digging into this Lindsey-focused episode about the struggle between morals and the pursuit of power. Along the way the conversation ranges through computer tropes on tv, grooming, evil Sheldon Cooper, scarcity mind set, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, redemption versus escape, law firm culture, career tracks, Andor, and heist tropes.
Next time, we’ll be covering Angel season 1, episode 22, “To Shanshu in LA,” the finale.

It’s the cheesemaker! Some of you guys love this episode and some hate it — a polarizing one for sure. Even though I see it differently now, I still love and appreciate it so much. Top-tier TWD for me. But I think my take is more nuanced than last time, and it was a blast to have Alex Kruger (who co-hosted our TWD: Dead City coverage with Ben) with me to thoroughly talk it through.

In this episode, Kelsey and Gen discuss the Netflix 2026 documentary Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart that revisits the 2002 abduction of Elizabeth Smart from her home in Salt Lake City and the nine months she spent in captivity before being recovered alive. Drawing on Elizabeth’s accounts, new interviews, news coverage from the time, and law-enforcement records, the documentary examines how the case quickly became a national media story and how early assumptions shaped both public perception and investigative priorities.
Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart details a series of misjudgments by law enforcement and focuses on the efforts and experiences of Elizabeth’s family, who continued to push the search forward when progress stalled. Rather than retelling the crime itself, the documentary examines how the case was handled, how it was reported, and how those choices affected both the investigation and the public response.

Hosted by Jason, Kara, and Randy.

for an action packed finale, this recap pod was incredibly low energy and boring
No spoilers but episode 5 ?......
Agreeded with everyone comments. However, Kristen's comments on the female representation really resonated with me and was dead on. Thanks for presenting that point. The writing certainly fell short this season. The actors did absolutely the best they could.
what!? That was HUMAN!? 😱😱😱😱 When was the last time you wanted to murder a city when you've felt bad?
okay sorry, I have to defend Thor. He is a big sweetheart and a wonderful interview. His English isnt 100% but I will ot listen to people trash him! 😜🤣
