Fans of The Walking Dead know it's so much more than a zombie show. It's an emotionally rich, character-driven series about love and loss, and found family, and the lengths we'd go through to protect the people we care about. That's what's kept us coming back all these years. (And also we like zombies.)
I’m Jason Cabassi. My cohost Karen and I started podcasting about The Walking Dead back in 2010. Along the way, I’ve appeared on the show a couple of times as a walker, hosted hundreds of Q&A panels with TWD actors at conventions across the U.S., and eventually teamed up with my current co-host, the witty and insightful Lucy Hinnie. Together—with some incredible guests—we’ve covered The Last of Us and every Walking Dead spinoff, from Fear to Dead City.
Right now, we’re enjoying a rewatch of the original series—with the full story in mind—and diving into the moments that still hit hard. Past guests on the podcast include Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Robert Kirkman, Angela Kang, Greg Nicotero, and many more.
And the most fun and fulfilling part of all this has absolutely been interacting with you guys and making it a conversation. So write in, send a voice message, and be part of it!

Jackson is a smallish town in the larger valley of Jackson Hole.
I now hate Abby almost as much as hated Negan that day
I disagree that Daryl is torn. I mean yeah he's going to have to save the kid but he made his decision and he went for the boat.
the walking dead's best spinoff ever
just sharing that, as a person of faith, I found it fascinating to learn other perspectives. I was not offended at all, many people who live a life of faith can respect other's belief systems. The entire story line of Gabriel is interesting. I loved the story line of Hershel (sr.) and his faith, and how much Maggie has changed as she started having at least some faith. Remembering back to the "She taught me to love" conversation with her dad at the farm.
Great podcast, more Peter!

I'm 42; I wonder how many people younger than me remember Red Rover. I remember playing it in 3rd grade and then it was banned from my playground in the 4th grade because too many kids were getting hurt. 🤷🏻♀️

When is Rick coming back????
After the Hershal convo Rick is pushed up on the horse by a hand. It's not covered in blood. It's a helping hand. I wonder if it was imagined by Rick.
