Crosscheck Mental Performance Training Tammy Barlette is a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and fighter pilot with over 20 years of military aviation experience. She concluded her career in 2018 after flying the T-37 Tweet, A-10 Warthog, T-38 Talon, MQ-1 Predator, and MQ-9 Reaper, serving as both a combat pilot and an instructor pilot. She accumulated more than 3,000 flight hours and is a graduate of the prestigious U.S. Air Force Weapons School. Following her retirement from military aviation, Tammy devoted herself to the study of mental performance training, translating principles used by elite athletes into practical, repeatable tools for pilots. She is the founder and CEO of Crosscheck Mental Performance, where she teaches a popular online course that helps aviators build confidence, improve focus, and perform effectively under pressure. With over a decade of experience instructing in U.S. Air Force pilot training and more than seven years studying and teaching mental performance, Tammy brings a unique and powerful perspective to general aviation. Meet Lola! Lola Reid Allin is a former Airline Transport Pilot who worked as a pilot for the Ontario Government and DeHavilland/Flight Safety, a Class I flight instructor, and the first female Chief Flying Instructor at Waterloo-Wellington Flight Centre. In addition, she is a professional SCUBA Dive Master and an award-winning photographer and author whose work has appeared in national and international publications, including National Post, National Geographic, Globe & Mail, Verge: Travel with Purpose, Toronto Star, Grapevine, and Santa Fe Centre for Photography. Lola is an adventurer whose art and writing reflects the world vision of her experience. In addition to a three-year residency in Mexico, she’s explored more than 65 countries in depth — under water and on foot, and by dogsled, jeep, and camel. To share her adventures & photographs, to provide a showcase for other photographers, and to inspire others to travel—she created the Armchair Traveller Travelogue in 2017. In addition to these personally narrated travel and adventure presentations, Lola does outreach presentations to promote the role of women in aviation/STEM careers. Her professional associations include The Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, Women in Aviation International, and The Writers’ Union of Canada.
