The imprecatory psalms are psalms of intense cursing. These psalms contain harsh language and call for God to exercise justice. A Christian must read, study, and apply these psalms with great care but also be sure not to ignore them as they are a part of Scripture. Many people have questions about re-baptism. When should this be done? What if a person grows in their knowledge and understanding from when they were initially baptized? We should keep in mind that we will always be growing, but this doesn't mean that the power of Jesus' blood that saved us initially has weakened or changed (Acts 4:12; 1 John 3:20). God is kind, gracious, compassionate, and forgiving but he still holds humans accountable for their sins. We can receive forgiveness, but sometimes earthly consequences remain. The Holy Spirit is sometimes referred to as the 3rd member of the Godhead, is this correct? It is fine to refer to the Holy Spirit using this description so long as we appreciate that He is equally God along with the Father and the Son.
