Raised in brokenness, Jessica Rose longed for a better life—a family, stability, the “American Dream.” By 2015, she had stepped into the role of “man” of the family, and in 2017 became a “step-dad.” But behind the image, she battled deep pain and regret. “I’m too deep into this. I don’t know how to turn back,” she thought before attempting suicide in 2019. That moment became a turning point. After surviving and spending time in a mental hospital, Jessica realized: “I must’ve been kept here for a reason.” A few months later, she gave her life to Jesus Christ. What followed was a journey from brokenness to healing, from shame to grace. Today, Jessica is living proof of God’s relentless love and the power of redemption.
Angel Colon is a survivor of the 2016 Pulse Nightclub tragedy, where 49 lives were lost and over 53 people were injured. Despite being shot multiple times and suffering a shattered femur, Angel miraculously survived. His recovery has been nothing short of remarkable, and he credits his strength and healing to the grace of God. What once seemed like an unbearable tragedy—his “mess”—has now become his powerful message. Rather than allowing bitterness or pain to define his life, Angel turned his story into a testimony of hope, forgiveness, and freedom.Today, Angel travels across the country sharing that message. He equips leaders, young adults, and churches to lovingly welcome and minister to those who identify as LGBTQ.
