As we head into homebuying season, a new survey finds that for many Americans, the stress of buying a home goes far beyond the price tag. 38% say cost is their biggest concern, nearly as many worry about actually finding the right home and navigating the process, and more than a quarter say securing a mortgage tops their list of fears. The research also shows many buyers may not realize they have options that could save them money, including programs and credit union lending.
