This week Adam, Trunter and Jamie are joined by fellow jambo, Phil Wanless. In 2021, at the age of just 20, his son Fraser tragically took his own life. We talk to Phil about his journey, look back to some memories and stories of Fraser and Hearts as well as discussing finding ways to improve mind health for both the younger and older generation. For Fraser Wanless 2000 - 2021#fraserwanlessforever20
So, it wasn't a great 90 minutes at Rugby Park. But still all to play for and Jamie, Adam and Trunter take stock as they reflect on the loss to Killie and look forward to the game against Dundee back at Tynecastle on Saturday.
This week we are joined by Mark Weir: a Jambo and the goalie / vice-captain of Edinburgh's second biggest team, Edinburgh City. We get inside the mind and gloves of what it is like being a goalkeeper. We discuss what it takes to being the last line of defence and where one save can win a game and one mistake can cost it. We also reflect on some career highlights, have a quiz and look ahead to the Killie game.
After a week away, we are back again with everything you'd expect: from Braga's goals to Del's square goes.
A sore one to take at Ibrox but all still to play for in the league as we reflect and look forward, particularly to our game against Falkirk. Check-ins, quizzes and sidetracking slander aimed at journalists included.
No clickbait title here. Although, to be fair, we do also talk about the upcoming Rangers game and do a couple of quizzes.
The Gorgie giveth... and the Gorgie taketh away. From the sublime to the pish. The boys reflect on the highs of Tannadice to the lows of the SMISA and look ahead to consider how we can get back to winning ways ahead of a potentially season defining derby. The comings and goings of the now closed winter transfer window are also discussed before a couple of quizzes rounds things off.
Jamie, Adam and John cover the eventful 2-2 draw against Celtic then look at potential transfers before the window closes. There's also a Dundee United preview, a final full length loan watch and a quiz.
We sit down and talk to former Hearts striker Christian Nade. He opens up to us about his life and time at Hearts. There's changing room bombs, breaking up sword fights and that's all before he even gets to Hearts! There's also time to review our Scottish Cup exit, our huge upcoming fixture against Celtic, discuss transfers and have a quiz.We apologise for the poor sound quality at parts during the episode
A bunch of men gettin' giddy over Gordon. And some other Hearts related stuff.
It's 2026 and the boys are back to talk all things Hearts and beyond. There's a check-in, there's a challenge, there's a 6 points gap at the top. Mon the jambos.
It's a 2 hour festive feast with the editor of Hearts Standard, Joel (Noel?) Sked. We talk to him about his life supporting Hearts and his career in sports journalism. We then do a top 5 signings of the season so far, biggest surprise and disappointment as well as who is the most improved. Much like we should all do at this time, in amongst all the reflection, we also look forward!
It's a week where we won (connect) four points and not in the order we would have predicted. It was a lackluster performance followed by an exceptionally impressive performance. We look at where we went fairly wrong and where we went very right. On top of that there are two quizzes, loan watch, mental health check ins and occasional travel chess chat.
The boys start today's episode with a mental health check-in and discussion before reflecting on the issues facing Hearts just now. Much like life, there's some rough and there's smooth and there's a fork being kicked at John Collins.
Well, we made it a full 20 episodes before suffering our first defeat and to who else but the team we have the A90 agreement with where no visiting can ever be victorious, We reflect on the game but not before we welcome Motherwell superfan Chris McCorquodale onto the show to give us insights on our weekend's opponents.
Trunter, Jamie and Adam are joined this week by Paul Beeson from Two Halves Productions; a theatre company that has had 4 of its productions (so far!) shown at Tynecastle. Paul talks us through the fascinating Hearts history that inspired the shows and gives us a glimpse behind the production curtain. He also to about some of his Hearts memories and takes us through some of his mental health journey and recovery.
Trunter is AWOL but the other boys talk about 2 points dropped at home to Dundee United and use the rare opportunity of a very lackluster performance a bit of constructive criticism. Couple of quizzes and an insight into our next episode as well
2 games to discuss this week: a draw at St Mirren but coming back and winning convincingly against Dundee to put us NINE clear at the top. John and Adam discuss a Hearts legend event they attended which gave some pretty interesting insights into who our highest rated JTA signing is out with Ageu... There's a Dundee United preview as well as a couple of quizzes.
An episode where Jamie, Trunter, Adam and John are talking about beating Celtic and going 8 points clear at the top is interrupted by a (at the time of recording) breaking related news story midway...
The trip to Kilmarnock featured Scotrail trains but this podcast is all about the Gorgie Juggernaught. The good times keep coming and Jamie, Adam, John and Trunter are here to revel in it!
