So do you think you need to be an "Alpha"? Humans really don't know what a leader looks like in most cases. We see a puffed up loud and overbearing person and think, "Gee that person is strong and speaks their mind, they Must be a great powerful leader". In reality this "leader" they adore is showing all of the signs of insecurity and anxious controlling weakness. When I am told by a client that one of their dogs is "dominant" I know immediately that the dog in question is weak and insecure. Leaders don't overcompensate or dominate. True leaders don't even think about being a leader beyond what it means to care for their people or followers.
