When a young Penn State college student goes missing after a costume party on Halloween night, everyone on campus is in a state of panic. An evening at the State Fair with her best friend, and a promise to her mother to find a safe ride home by the end of the night. That was the deal that Diana Smith made with her daughter. 13-year-old Misty Copsey was excited to finally gain some independence and spend the afternoon with her friend, 15-year-old Trena Bovard at the Washington State Fair on the evening of September 17, 1992. But when the night comes to an end and Misty misses her bus back to her home in Spanaway, she's determined not to break her promise to her mother. On the evening of June 6th, the Kickapoo High School class of 1992 was getting ready to kick off their graduation ceremony. Suzanne (Suzie) Streeter and her best friend Stacey McCall, along with Suzie's mother Sherrill Levitt were in attendance. But what would start out as a joyous occasion, would soon end in tragedy sometime in the wee hours of the morning when the three women seemed to have vanished without a trace.
