Life is hard for everyone. Because all fall short of God’s glory, we naturally produce corruption, not righteousness—and we all feel the weight of sin’s consequences. But this episode explores the powerful truth that while God’s anger is real, His mercy is greater and eternal for those who receive it by faith. Looking at David’s experience in Psalm 30, we see how God restrained His wrath, preserved His promises, and turned weeping into joy. If not for God’s mercy, we would all be condemned. Instead, through His holiness, faithfulness, and grace, He gives undeserved life, renewed purpose, and eternal hope. Some people say that God answers every prayer, either by saying “yes,” “no,” or “wait.” Is that true, and if so, to what extent? After many months of patiently waiting on the LORD to reopen the door to record this podcast, the time has finally arrived!
