In this episode Chris and I talk about his upbringing in Canada, moving to Singapore and finding skateboarding, getting sponsored by Decca on a whim, the legendary cheese and crackers video and much more. If you are not familiar with Chris, he has been a professional skateboarder for the past 20 years. After his breakout part in Almost Skateboards' 2004 video Round 3 Chris went on to make Cheese and Crackers with Daewon Song and it solidified his place in skateboard History. Over his time in skateboarding Chris has traveled the world seeking the best and most unique spots to film on and has made friends along the way.
Mirko Mangum is one of the raddest people you'll ever meet and the man behind Opus Footwear. In this episode of Relatively Positive Things we sit down and talk about him finding skating, turning pro and then discuss his journey working from some of the biggest skateboard companies including Planet Earth, Circa, Blackbox, Zoo York and more. There are some great stories in this one.
I met Adam a handful of years ago while working for Santa Cruz Skateboards. We were looking to get some animations done for the upcoming Full Length we had been working on called, Right to Exist. Joe Perrin and I ended up talking to Ira Ingram who told us he had a friend that could help and that friend worked for Adult Swim, which we thought was incredibly cool. Enter the world of Lilfuchs. Since then Adam and I have shared over a decade of friendship and worked together on most of the bigger core SC projects throughout the years. Today I am excited to share this conversation where we discuss how he found his love for animation, working through a decade of grief over the tragic loss of his brother and why being an individual will always be the way to go.

Ive had the pleasure of working along side Kelly Hart in some capacity for the last handful of years. We in skating know him as the guy who did the fakie three flip fakie manny on the courthouse and has the best laugh on the Nine Club but how he got to this point is a different story entirely. With two decades of skateboard industry experience Kelly breaks down how he started skating, battling big injuries and gives some great advice to folks trying to make it in this world. I hope you enjoy!
Alex White has worked to push women and queer skateboarding for over 20 years.
