When was the last time you did something you actually enjoyed—without rushing, multitasking, or feeling guilty?
In this Mom Life Unfiltered episode, I’m checking in with you—for real. We’re talking about stress, sleep deprivation, high cortisol, and how motherhood quietly pulls us into survival mode. From stress eating and exhaustion to feeling disconnected from yourself, this episode names the things we don’t always say out loud.
I’m sharing honestly where I am in this season—what I’m working through with rest, movement, body changes, and giving myself grace—while reminding you that your current season isn’t permanent. There are seasons for rebuilding, slowing down, and learning how to care for yourself without shame.
This isn’t about doing more or fixing everything overnight. It’s about noticing what your body and mind need right now—and choosing compassion over pressure.
If you’ve been feeling tired, overwhelmed, or like you’ve lost pieces of yourself in motherhood, this episode is for you.

Today’s episode is soft, honest, and REAL — the kind of episode moms listen to and say, “Oof… same.”
After a rough day with the kids, a night of interrupted sleep, and a body that still hasn’t learned how to rest (even when the babies finally sleep through the night), this morning came with a breath of fresh air. Peace. Gratitude. Quiet. The kind of morning that reminds you: you’re still alive, you’re still growing, and every day is a chance to begin again.
In this episode of Mom Life Unfiltered, I’m sharing:
what it feels like when your body stays in “mom alarm mode”
how one calm morning can reset your whole spirit
what my boys taught me today about grace and starting over
how asking for help from family is NOT weakness — it’s wisdom
why I’m choosing presence over perfection
how I protect my mental space by staying off social media during the holidays
remembering who you are outside of motherhood
surrendering comparison, pressure, and unrealistic expectations
This is your reminder that you don’t have to have it all together to have a beautiful life. Some days rock you. Some days you rock it. Both are part of the journey.
If you’ve been overwhelmed, overstimulated, or just tired… this episode will feel like a deep breath.

This episode is real, raw, and probably a little unpopular — but it needs to be said.
We’re living in a time where moms are constantly told to outsource everything — hire someone, pay someone, buy the convenience, make your life easier at any cost. But for many of us? The cost is too high. The pressure is too much. And honestly… the “easy way” isn’t always the best way.
In this episode of Mom Life Unfiltered, I share why I’m in a season of choosing time over outsourcing, skills over convenience, and presence over running around paying for things I can do myself.
From grooming my dog, cutting my boys’ hair, doing my own nails, and even simplifying homeschooling — this season has taught me the beauty of slowing down, learning new skills, and protecting our family budget in this wild economy.
This isn’t about being cheap. It’s about being wise, present, hands-on, and intentional — especially as a one-income family building generational wealth, stewarding what we have, and finding joy in the everyday work of motherhood.
If you’ve ever felt guilty for not outsourcing, overwhelmed by the pressure to buy convenience, or simply tired of the way everything feels expensive… this episode is for you.
Let’s talk real motherhood, real money, real skills — and why doing things yourself might be the most empowering shift you didn’t know you needed.

Okay, can we be real for a second?
In this Mom Life Unfiltered episode, I’m sharing the behind-the-scenes version of motherhood that doesn’t make it to Instagram — the loud days, the meltdowns during movie night, the homeschool decisions, the money choices, and the constant “Lord… what are we doing?” prayers.
I’m talking about:
• Looking at my podcast data and feeling deeply grateful for every single listener
• Realizing our life does not look like the American dream — multi-generational living, one income, homeschooling, and still feeling aligned
• Why I’m keeping my hands open with God instead of trying to control how the journey “should” look
• The garden metaphor: planting seeds in this season and trusting what’s happening under the surface
• Letting go of things (like my first dog) when the season shifts, and embracing new blessings (hello, mini Bernedoodle )
• The constant tension of early years (1–4): meltdowns, overstimulation, and wanting just one quiet day
• Balancing tech, iPads, and homeschool apps without losing our minds or our budget
• Learning my personal style again, resetting my closet, and remembering I exist outside of motherhood
• That movie night that was supposed to be cozy… and turned into pure chaos
This episode is for the mom whose life doesn’t look “aesthetic,” but it’s still holy.
For the one who’s tired, grateful, a little overwhelmed, and still choosing to show up.
You’re not behind.
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just in the thick of a season that’s forming you — and God knows exactly what He’s doing.
If this resonates, leave a review, share it with a friend, or email me at info@navigatingpostpartumwellness.com and tell me what season you’re in.

Lately, I’ve been in my homebody era — and honestly, I’m not mad about it.
In this Motherhood Unfiltered episode, I share what it’s been like to choose peace, silence, and home-cooked meals over constant outings. From turning down dinner invites to finding joy in quiet moments, I’ve realized that rest isn’t boring — it’s necessary.
I talk about:
•Why I’d rather stay home and cook than eat out (even on special occasions)
•How multi-generational living gives me balance and breathing room
•The joy of silence, solo dinners, and Christmas movie nights
•Learning to let go of control and accept help from my husband and family
•Releasing perfectionism while still honoring your need for order and peace
If you’ve ever felt guilty for not wanting to “go out,” this one’s for you. You’re not lazy — you’re learning to protect your peace.
Tune in for a candid, cozy conversation that reminds you:
You don’t have to be everywhere to be at peace where you are.

Let’s be real—mom life in America feels like a never-ending merry-go-round. You’re told to chase “balance” that photographs well on Instagram, but doesn’t reflect real life. You’re sold peace through products, planners, and productivity hacks that only leave you needing more.
In this Motherhood Unfiltered episode, Jaree Williams gets raw about the quiet rebellion of slowing down and thinking for yourself. She reminds moms that you don’t have to perform peace — you can actually live it.
In this conversation, we talk about:
How the system profits off of keeping moms exhausted and distracted
Why hustle culture feels holy but steals your peace
Giving yourself permission to rest without guilt or validation
The freedom that comes when your obedience no longer needs explanation
How to stop performing for social media and start living intentionally again
The beauty of contentment — learning to want less, not chase more
This isn’t just a motherhood conversation. It’s a wake-up call for every woman ready to think for herself, redefine success, and walk in peace.

Modern motherhood doesn’t always come with a village, it has to be created sometimes — and that’s why so many of us feel overstimulated, not broken.
In this episode, Jaree Williams breaks down the truth behind sensory overload, why it’s not about self-discipline, and how real moms can give themselves grace while building systems that support peace, presence, and rest.
