Hi! My name is Christian, and this podcast is me sitting alone in a room talking about the art of storytelling.
Why its cool. Why its important. And why we as storytellers need to wield our power responsibly.
This is also an excuse for me to talk about my favorite thing ever. So come hang out!

This week we talk about the importance of sincerety in our creative works. Whether you are a writer, painter, filmmaker, dancer, singer, or a stacker of rocks; if the thing you make doesn't come from your heart it will be that much less vibrant.Don't aim first for mass appeal, don't first try to be better than your competitors. Instead focus on what you want to make, and let that be your guiding light. Don't hide that light, let it shine. Also I was so excited for this weeks episiode title. Despite the fact that I have never seen/read that play, and I'm pretty certain its making fun of something completely different.Send me your thoughts on Youtube, Twitch, Twitter/X, bluesky, instagram, and probably somewhere else @Chandelerion. This podcast is brodcast to Youtube, Spotify, apple podcasts, and a whole bunch of other places (so probably wherever you're going.)Also here's a linktree: ( https://linktr.ee/chandelerion ) in case you want to find via click.
Generative Artificial Intelligence and its place in the arts has been a subject of conversation for a long time. In this weeks episode I give my take on it. We discuss, nuance, robots, I use the C-word (clanker) and we take a look at how AI should interact with the creative world. Spoiler alert: this episode conatins nuance. But also, not personally a huge fan of AI generated content. And before you ask, yes I am very proud of this weeks title.Send me your thoughts on Youtube, Twitch, Twitter/X, bluesky, instagram, and probably somewhere else @Chandelerion. This podcast is brodcast to Youtube, Spotify, apple podcasts, and a whole bunch of other places (so probably wherever you're going.)Also here's a linktree: ( https://linktr.ee/chandelerion ) I have no idea if it works but here's hoping.
In this week's episode we do our first Genre Talk on Dark Fantasy! I give a general overview of the genre, talk about why its objectively super cool (and maybe not for everyone), then we go over how to approach creating in Dark Fantasy while being mindful of its effects on our audience.I really love dark fantasy, its been one of my favorite genre's for as long as I can remember. So I have THOUGHTS.Leave a review/comment if you also have THOUGHTS!Find me on Youtube, Twitch, Twitter/X, bluesky, instagram, and probably somewhere else @Chandelerion. This week we're talking about that great old problem. Stereotypes! we break the concept down and look at its roots, its intentions, and the ways we can interact with it responsibly. The title this week is pretty straightforward. I apologize for that and shall ensure a baseline amount of whimsy in future installments.Leave a review/comment if you have thoughts! Also find me on Youtube, Twitch, Twitter/X, bluesky, instagram, and probably somewhere else @Chandelerion. This podcast is brodcast to Youtube, Spotify, apple podcasts, and a whole bunch of other places (so probably wherever you're going.)
In today's episode I walk you through an analogy I use when considering Stories and their effects on people. This is also the first episode I recorded in a new space so it sounds a bit different, I did my best to clean up the audio and I think it came out pretty okay!I really wanted to have a Gordon Ramsey Joke in the title but I couldn't think of a funny one. And honestly this episode title is probably confusing enough to people with no idea what I'm talking about... which is everyone because I've never talked about this before. Anywho, find me on Youtube, Twitch, Twitter/X, bluesky, instagram, and probably somewhere else @Chandelerion. If you read this far, you're pretty cool. Here's an invisible cookie. It will give you superpowers, but only on the third full moon of a given month. This podcast is brodcast to Youtube, Spotify, apple podcasts, and a whole bunch of other places (so probably wherever you're going.)
Today's episode is all about Fan Content! How should Fan creators approach their projects? How should creators interact with fan content? And why is Travis Baldtree's "Legends and Latte's" a singularity point in the history of writing? Listen and find out!I really struggled with the title for this week. Find me on Youtube, Twitch, Twitter/X, bluesky, instagram, and probably somewhere else @Chandelerion!This podcast is brodcast to Youtube, Spotify, apple podcasts, and a whole bunch of other places (so probably wherever you're going.)
No reference in the title unless I managed to come up with something clever. I like to think I'm pretty good at that. Anyway Today's episode is about themes and how they interact with our stories and those who interact with them.Find me on Youtube, Twitch, Twitter/X, bluesky, instagram, and probably somewhere else @Chandelerion!This podcast is brodcast to Youtube, Spotify, apple podcasts, and a whole bunch of other places (so probably wherever you're going.)
This weeks title is once again a refernce to something. But instead of musicals, it is a favorite youtube show of mine. This guy shouts scientific facts at you while explaining how game physics would probably function in real life. I'm a pretty big fan. Also, thanks for listening! You can find me @Chandelerion on Youtube, Twitter, Twitch, instagram and probably other places as well.I was really nervous recording this one for some reason. This podcast is brodcast to Youtube, Spotify, apple podcasts, and a whole bunch of other places (so probably wherever you're going.)
This is the introductory episode where I introduce myself to you, the person to whom I have not yet been introduced... This is my first time doing this, am I doing alright? And yes, the sneaking suspicion you have about the title? it is infact a reference to The King and I. I would have done something from Sound of music but I forgot they weren't the same thing. You can find me @Chandelerion basically anywhere. But specifically on youtube, twitch, twitter and instagram! This podcast is brodcast to Youtube, Spotify, apple podcasts, and a whole bunch of other places (so probably wherever you're going.)
