Description

The podcast for dentists ready to transform chaos into confidence—in business, clinical skills, and life.

You didn't go to dental school to become a stressed-out manager, yet here you are—overwhelmed by team drama, stuck at a revenue plateau, and working harder than ever with less to show for it.
Welcome to Dentistry Made Simple, where practicing dentist Dr. Tarun "TBone" Agarwal shares the exact systems, frameworks, and truth bombs that help dental practice owners:

✅ Add $500K-1M in revenue without working more hours
✅ Master profitable procedures like implants with confidence
✅ Build teams that actually run the practice (so you don't have to)
✅ Create predictable growth using the proven 3D GPS framework
✅ Transform from stressed operator to confident CEO

Clinical confidence builders for high-value procedures
Leadership strategies that create aligned, accountable teams
Truth bombs that challenge everything you think you know about practice success

What 2020 brought our industry and our lives was not exactly what we all thought a year ago, but it wasn’t all doom and gloom, either. We’ve seen a lot of innovations in the past few months, many of which were likely forced early on, but people have since adapted to this “new normal,” and we’ll very likely take it with us as we enter 2021. How did our practice adjust to the abrupt changes? What were the adjustments we needed to spearhead? How did the pandemic affect us professionally and personally?Today, I discuss how the pandemic has forced our industry to innovate and what our practice did to not just keep our doors open, but to try to hit as many of the goals we set out a year ago. I share why we needed to shuffle our team amidst the pandemic and explain why I can’t fully get rid of insurance in my practice. I describe the lessons we learned as a team and how we’re not better prepared when it comes to anything virtual. I also share how the pandemic personally hit me and my family and explain why, despite these challenges and setbacks,  I’m still thankful."No one needs change; we needed disruption and COVID was the disruption."This week on T-Bone Speaks Dentistry Podcast:My thoughts on how the pandemic will persist through 2021.Did we hit our practice's 2020 goals? Why I'm trying to get out of network with many insurance companies. How the pandemic affected our team members. The positive changes Slack enabled our practice to have. Why a team change should be a goal in 2021.The one area COVID-19 crushed across every industry. Some of the wins we had in 2020 and how it affected our families. Our Favorite Quotes:"2021 will be a very bad year if we don't have any team change in our practice." - Tarun AgarwalSubscribe, Connect & Share Your Favorite EpisodesThanks for tuning into this week’s episode of T-Bone Speaks Dentistry. “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,” as the saying goes. It means working and only working will eventually burn you out and make you have a profound dislike for the profession you chose. This is why retreats were made—these events are a fantastic opportunity to get a well-deserved break from being a high-performing dentist and a means to learn something new and improve our professional relationships. What should you discuss during retreats? How soon should you plan for them? Today, I share the importance of having team retreats and how they can be a means for your practice to improve both financially and culturally. I describe why I always plan for annual retreats and why we never used to have retreats in my practice. I explain topics you can highlight during a retreat, especially when hitting your financial goals. I also discuss what’s in store for you on our 3D Bootcamp this coming January."Nothing makes you get along better than living with people for a couple of days."- Tarun AgarwalThis week on T-Bone Speaks Dentistry Podcast:Why I always plan annual retreatsWhy the retreat wasn't always a retreat and what it was like beforeFocusing on critical thinking during retreatsReverse engineering to get the financial numbers you wantThe procedures I provide in my practice and my commitment to hybridsOur tooth replacement therapy and making sure the patient commits to itWhat you can expect from our 3D Bootcamp next yearOur Favorite Quotes:"Of all the programs we do, the 3D Bootcamp will help drastically change the way you practice dentistry." - Tarun Agarwal"If you haven't been averaging one a month right now, it's going to be difficult to suddenly start doing one and a half or two each month." - Tarun Agarwal"Critical thinking is important for team members, especially when you're moving to a role where you want team members to be like owners." -Tarun AgarwalSubscribe, Connect & Share Your Favorite EpisodesThanks for tuning into this week’s episode of T-Bone Speaks Dentistry.
