Description
Welcome to The Modern Motherload! This is a podcast for moms who are carrying way too much: emotionally, mentally, physically, and probably in their car trunks. Hosted by two women with 3 kids each, this is where we vent, overshare, and laugh about the unhinged reality of modern motherhood. From vacation meltdowns to school emails to the total identity crisis no one warned us about--we’re not okay, and that’s okay. We’re not here to be perfect moms. We certainly don't have all the answers. But once in a while, you might accidentally learn something. Maybe.

In this unfiltered episode, we’re letting go of the “podcast voice” and showing up as our full, messy, real selves. We talk about how we’ve slipped into sounding like experts (we’re not), why that’s been weighing on us, and how we want to reclaim the heart of this podcast. We also dig into the weird space of modern parenting—comparing how we were raised versus how we’re raising our kids—and ask the big question: who actually feels like the adult in the room? Spoiler: it’s not always us. From self-doubt to self-awareness, it’s all here. No tips.
