We are bringing back one of our favorite episodes! What if following Jesus was less about carrying responsibility and more about responding to invitation? In part one of this conversation, Jennie sits down with Jamie Winship to talk about identity - not as something we achieve, but something we receive. Jamie shares his story of becoming a police officer, working in war zones, and learning to bring who he is into what he does, rather than letting his work define him.Jamie introduces two simple questions that have reshaped how Jennie leads, decides, and lives: “God, what do you want me to know?” and “What do you want me to do?” This episode invites us to slow down, listen, and remember that God is not asking us to carry everything - He’s asking us to respond to Him. Resources & Links:Jennie’s new book "The Lie You Don't Know You Believe" is available for pre-order NOW - GRAB A COPY HERE!Join the fight clubFight Your Lie Tour Tickets hereREGISTER TO HOST AN IF:LOCALListen to more episodes: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | YouTubeLearn More About JennieFollow Jennie on social:InstagramFacebook
In this episode, Jennie sits down with Judah Smith for an honest conversation about faith, leadership, pride, people-pleasing, and what it really means to stay spiritually healthy in public ministry. Judah shares vulnerably about his journey as a pastor, author, and leader navigating platform, criticism, and the tension between obedience to God and approval from people. Together, they explore how true spiritual formation is often hidden, slow, and deeply rooted in character, family, and presence with Jesus - not scale or success.Follow JudahFind Judah's Book Resources & Links:Jennie’s new book "The Lie You Don't Know You Believe" is available for pre-order NOW - GRAB A COPY HERE!Join the fight clubFight Your Lie Tour Tickets hereREGISTER TO HOST AN IF:LOCALListen to more episodes: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | YouTubeLearn More About JennieFollow Jennie on social:InstagramFacebook

The Messy Middle

The Messy Middle

2025-11-1117:53

Most of life isn’t a launch or a finish line. It’s the middle, mundane, conflicted, unglamorous, and that’s exactly where God grows our maturity, resilience, and trust.Jennie names the “messy middle” we all live in: between starting and celebrating, between intention and fruit. Looking at scripture, parenting moments, and the behind-the-scenes of launching Gather25, she reframes the middle as holy ground. This is where perseverance forms character, trust replaces control, and faithfulness becomes the measure of a life with God.Resources & Links:REGISTER TO HOST AN IF:LOCALListen to more episodes: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | YouTubeLearn More About JennieFollow Jennie on social:InstagramFacebookJennie’s new book "The Lie You Don't Know You Believe" is available for pre-order NOW - GRAB A COPY HERE!

I grew up listening to my dad reading from Max Lucado's books. When he finished reading we would all would say, "Boy, he writes well!" My mom passed away in September and I thought I was solid, but I suddenly needed to KNOW where she was and what she was doing. I knew God had her and I loved to imagine her in her new home- made just right. To hear Max say that she is in Heaven (not sleeping), tears sprang to my eyes and my heart leapt. So greatful for those words.

Hi Jennie, I am a 19 years old. I want to say thank you for the work that you’re doing. As I listen to this, I am so in awe of our God and how He’s moving in one of the most dangerous countries in the world. I am going to commit to praying for our Afghan brothers and sisters every single day. God has awakened me. Thank you.

Wow! Jill is amazing! There were alot of things she said that spoke to my mind heart and soul. The one that will always stick with me is "Courage is fear we prayed on". Im not a crier at all but by the end of the prayers I was balling. Thank you to both of you, Jennie for being Jill to me and Jill for saying what you did.
