In this episode, I sit down with Kristin Marchman, owner of Essential Wellness Chiropractic and Massage in Cumming, Georgia, to talk about alignment in both design and wellness. Kristin and I have known each other for years, so this conversation felt especially meaningful, not only because of our long-standing connection, but also because I had the opportunity to help design her practice space. We loved working together to create an environment that feels calming, intentional, and supportive of healing. Kristin shares her holistic approach to chiropractic care and massage, her journey as a chiropractor of 17 years, and what whole-body wellness truly looks like as a business owner and mom of three. This episode is all about how thoughtful design and proper alignment—both in your body and in your space—can make a powerful difference in how you feel every day!
In this episode, I sit down with my good friend, Kelly Berry—owner of KB Media and the woman who has helped me so much with my own social media journey. We go back to our high school days, how we reconnected years later, and what it’s been like watching each other grow into the businesses we run today.
I open up about struggling to get back in front of the camera after having a baby, and Kelly gives me the reminder I think so many of us need: show up anyway. She shares why authenticity matters more than anything, how to get comfortable talking to the camera, and why you don’t have to wait until your content is “perfect” to start posting.
Kelly also dives into what it really takes to start a business—understanding your marketing, your finances, your time, and building a brand that feels true to you. She gives practical tips for creating content, finding your style, and being consistent… even when it feels scary.
If you’ve been on the fence about starting your business or putting yourself out there online, this episode is your sign. We talk honestly, we laugh, and we give you the push you’ve been waiting for.
Hope you enjoy,
xoxo Jess

Hey friends! I’m Jess, and welcome back to the House of Jess Podcast! In this episode, I’m sharing a little about my journey—how my love for interior design started when I was a kid, how my dad always encouraged me, and the path that led me from a corporate job to starting my own design company, J. Miles Design. I’ll talk about my vision for the company, why creating beautiful, functional, and safe spaces matters so much to me, and how I hope to inspire others to love the spaces they live in. Whether you’re into design, lifestyle, or just love hearing real stories about following your passion, this episode is for you!
In the very first episode, Jess sits down with her friend Eryn, also known as Natural Minded Momma on Instagram. Eryn shares her journey into wellness and a less toxic lifestyle, which took on new meaning after her first unmedicated birth and later, the challenges of navigating her son Everett’s unexpected medical condition. Jess and Eryn reflect on motherhood, faith, and the importance of creating a peaceful, comfortable home environment. They dive into the value of interior design in making a house truly feel like a haven—especially for busy women balancing work, kids, and life’s responsibilities. Together, they explore how partnering with a designer can save time, money, and stress, while helping women find a style that reflects who they are.
