Pull over! We have exciting news! Season 2 of Fan Girl Road Trip is a go. We will see you all back here on June 2nd for a whole new leg of the road trip.
Ladies and gentlement, welcome to the first ever Roadies. Today we honor the best of the best of season 1 of Supernatural - from costumes to guest stars to episodes. Please take your seats as we relitigate every decision your hosts have made throughout the season, rehash our thoughts yet again, and come to nearly the exact same conclusions we did before.
It's the swan song of a handful of characters, beloved and not (lookin at you, Tom). It's the revealing of plans on twists on schemes. It's the introduction of the big baddy himself. It's yet another reminder that John Winchester is not a great dad. Strap in for this jam packed, somewhat confusing, but certainly exciting season finale that leaves us on a real serious cliff hanger!

As the John and the boys split up to try and finish things once and for all (which always goes so well), viewers are treated to a series of greatest hits - Meg, Sam's visions, women on the ceiling. And also some guy named Tom. The colt is in play, the boys need to find a six month old baby STAT and we get just a little bit closer to answers. It's the end game, everyone. Buckle up.
Twilight. True Blood. Buffy. Modern TV and film is absolutely innundated with vampires of all kinds. The lore may differ but one thing typically remains - the vampires are a little bit sexy. Sam and Dean get some tough love backup from Dad after the disocvery of a fellow hunter draws them all together. Also we find out about this old west gun that John has apparently been looking for forever and is now going to be the savior of the series. Lot going on in this one, hope we caught most of it!

Money can't buy you happiness. Or interior design taste. What it can potentially buy you is a haunted painting that has the capacity to kill you in the night. Spend your money wisely, folks. This week Sam and Dean are dealing in antiques and Sam gets to go on a real life date. Will he fumble this unbelievably beauitful woman who seems way more on board with the supernatural hunting thing than one may expect? Hop in and let's find out!

There's something wrong with the children! Well, like six of them. Windows are being mysteriously opened and kids are getting pneumonia like nobody's business. This one's all about Dean's childhood trauma which, unfortunately for us big Jeffrey Dean Morgan fans, stems directly from some real shady actions by John Winchester. Get ready to be let down by your dad and then told it's all your fault - it's Something Wicked!

Never underestimate the power of belief. Or very bored college age kids back in their home towns for break. Sam and Dean are heading to Texas to investigate a strange house with an evolving haunting attached, but they aren't the only ghost hunters in the building this time. Bumbling amateurs, prank wars, and early internet message boards - this episode's got it all!

Welcome to lesson number one on how to trap yourself a pair of attractive young supernatural hunters. Be sure to appeal to their ego. Convince them just the sound of their names makes you quake with fear. You won't believe how brazenly they will waltz right in and boom, you got em! Just don't let them get theirs hands on a really bright light if your trap involves shadow creatures. Easy enough to avoid, right?

The boys are making a stop in Hibbing, Minnesota to check out a strange dissappearance witnessed only by a child who was up late watching scary movies. Is it a werewolf? a vampire? A... phantom abductor (google it)? Well, today Sam and Dean are about to discover the one universal truth we all need to keep in mind - not every threat is supernatural. So grab your local sheriff and get ready to sprint. It's time to play the most dangerous game!

So many things can be solved with a good night's sleep. One thing that can't be are premonition-based nightmares about the deaths of strangers. Sam Winchester's shining powers are acting up again, and this time it's taking us to Saginaw, Michigan to investigate the deaths Sam is witnessing in his nightmares - both sleeping and waking ones. The boys hightail it to town, but will it be too late? Will they have a significant impact on the plot at all? Who's this kid that is brining an Emmy-worthy performance to this CW show? Let's find out.
Buckle up! No, seriously, buckle up. This is the episode with the racist truck. It's also the episode where we meet the apparent love of Dean's life, and the episode that wants to tell a poignant story about bravery in the face of hate and bigotry. And the one with the racist truck. There is so much going on here. Let's talk about it.

Everybody put on your Sunday best, because today you are going to be front and center for a genuine, bona fide miracle! Or at least that's what it says on the tent. Unfortunately for our boys, who are desparately in need of a miracle themselves, everything comes at a price. With a great cast of characters and lives in the balance, this episode asks Sam, Dean and the audience to think about what it means to have faith even if it isn't rewarded.

Welcome to the first ever bonus episode of Fan Girl Road Trip! Today, Lacey and Jillian are taking you back to the start... the original start. That's right - it's a dramatic reading of the original Supernatural script. The boys are Sam and Dean Harrison, the supernatural mystery is a little more complicated, and the bones of a great show are already there. Acts one and two are included in this jam packed episode, with a post mortem discussion on what your hosts think of this version of the script. Acts three and four will be released as a second bonus episode on Christmas Day, a special present just for you.
A very special shout out to listener Dev for the incredible artwork featured on this episode - thank you so so much again!!

It's the apple pie life for the small town folks of Burkitsville, Indiana. Less so for any unlucky newlyweds who may wander into town during a particular week in April, though. Sam and Dean take a brief detour from each other's company in this episode, with Dean trying to stop a mysterious murder spree by a pagan god, and Sam... mostly hanging out at a bus station. We all have our own journeys. Bonus points for the introduction of Meg, and a Jeffrey Dean Morgan sighting!
As a heads up, there will be no new regular episode of Fan Girl Road Trip next week for the Thanksgiving holiday (but keep an eye on that feed for a special surprise!).

Nothin quite like an old, abandoned, haunted asylum to set your supernatural horror TV episode in, is there? This week the boys are headed to Rockford, Illinois because their dad sent them a cryptic text with coordinates. Thanks Dad, always good to hear from you. Phantom phone calls, ghostly smooches and a genuinely shocking finale await. So cut that deadbolt off the doors, let's head inside the Asylum!

Sam and Dean are headed back to their childhood home in Lawrence, Kansas to investigate a new (or old) evil. Bummer. On the upside, we get to meet the delightful Missouri Mosely in this episode. Hooray! So throw that classic car into park by that very memorable tree in the front yard and leave another desperate voicemail for your absent father, because this time there really is no place like Home.
Are there spiders crawling out of your showerhead? Is your backyard literally squirming with roaches? Is every bee in the state suddenly swarming in your house like they've been summoned by a curse? Call the Winchester Brothers, supernatural exterminator extrodinaires! But also, while you are calling them, perhaps try leaving town. I understand you just bought that wonderful new house in the hottest housing development in Oklahoma, but seriously. Just leave. It's literally the only option. No refunds, though.

Something in an Iowa college town is summoning a hook-handed ghost to punish sinners. Well, a very certain set of sinners, all having to do with one specific reverend's daughter. Is she just super unlucky, or is she the key to the whole thing? Grab a banana and crack open book after book after book - it's I Know What You Did Last Summer! Whoops, sorry, wrong franchise - It's Hook Man!
