This Week On Sliding Through Dimensions: "Paradise Lost" (Season 3 Episode 15) On This weeks episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, the Sliders arrive on a quite costal world where something feels very off. The small town they land on is filled with people who are extremely suspicious of outsiders. Almost everyone looks under the age of 30. Aside from one older woman Trudy, Arturo is the oldest person in town. It dosen't take long for the team to uncover the truth. Years earlier, an explosion at a uranium mine mutated a massive underground worm into a deadly creature. While the townspeople originally tried to destroy it, they discovered that a substance the creature leaves lets them live for over a hundred years while staying young forever. In exchange, they protect the monster at all costs. When Arturo and Quinn taken by the creature, Wade and Rembrandt realize they have to stop it once and for all. A showdown at the old mines leads to gunfire with the town's sheriff, the discovery of a huge nest of eggs, and a final plan to destroy before it can keep claiming lives. If you look tired, upset, or just a little overwhelmed, you get labeled a "fracture" and sent to a special retreat to be "fixed." Things get serious when the Professor is taken away after showing a bit too much stress. At the retreat he's brainwashed into thinking he's a classic Sherlock Holmes style detective and everyone around him is forced to play along with there own assinged characters. It's all supposed to be therapy. But then someone starts commiting real murders. This Week On Sliding Through Dimensions: "The Fire Within" (Season 3 Episode 8) On this episode of Sliding Through Dimensions the Sliders slip into a world been mostly destroyed by fire, and in just one slide, they accidentally bring a living flame along with them. When they land in oil-rich Los Angeles, they find themselves in a town built on oil refineries and the flame begins to burn and spread, acting like it has a mind of it's own. The group takes jobs at the refinery and quickly get caught up in local tensions Union VS Managment while trying to figure out what the flame entity really wants. Quinn and Arturo work up a way to communicate with it, through lights and other signals. At the same time, Wade connects with a pregnant union worker faced with hardship thanks to the oil companies. In the end, the Sliders realize they must fix there mistakes they're responsible for bringing the flame into this world and help contain and get it back home before it destroys everything. This Week On Sliding Through Dimensions: "Double Cross" (Season 3 Episode 2) In this episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, the Sliders arrive in San Angeles, a sprawling megalopolis formed by the merger of Los Angeles and San Fransico, suffering from resource shortages and sky high prices-gas sells for over $400 a gallon. Rembrandt is whisked away by an obsessed fan named Monique, while Quinn, Wade, and Arturo are taken to Prototronics, a lab working on sliding technology. There, they meet Logan St. Claire, Quinns female double, who offers to help Quinn fix there timer in exchange for his assistance with her research. Arturo and Wade uncover that Logan murdered their world's Arturo and is using sliding tech to raid other earths for resources. Logan then kidnaps Wade as leverage. Quinn and Arturo break into Prototronics to rescue her, recover the timer, and share evidence of Logan's crimes with Arturo's widow. During a blackout caused by rolling brownouts, they make there escape-but not before Quinn sabotages Logan's timer instead of sending her back to San Angleles, he programs it so she'll slide randomly within a 400-mile radius. Sliders Season 2 Wrap Up In this special episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we take a look back at Season 2 of Sliders. This season, the team faced a variety of strange and challenging worlds, each with there own unique twist. One of the biggest developments was meeting the Kromaggs in "Invasion." These are dangerous beings who can slide between worlds just like the team, and they have plans to take over Earth they find. This encounter sets up a new, ongoing threat for the Sliders. The season finale, "As Time Goes By," had the team visiting three diffrent worlds where they kept running into versions of the same people, including Quinn's old high school crush, Daelin. In one world, time even moves backwards, adding to the confusion and challenges they face. Throught the season, the Sliders dealt with issues like age discrimination, government control, and personal idenity. They also had to rely on each other more than ever as they navigated these complex worlds. After a confrontation, Quinn encourages Daelin to seek a better life, she decides to leave Dennis, taking thier child with her. The final world presents a unique challenge: time flows backward.
