Costello was born on January 26, 1891 in Lauropoli, a frazione of the town of Cassano allo Ionio in the province of Cosenza in the Calabria region, this is what I heard was he born in Calabria and then went to Sicily cuz you mention something like he came from this town in Sicily was that in reference to him being born there
