๐Ÿ”ฎThis meditation has become a go-to in my personal practice and is truly one of my favorite ways to begin the day. During this 10 minute meditation, we move through a simple visualization exercise where you are gently guided into your future, both visually and emotionally. Neuroscience shows that the brain does not clearly distinguish between a vividly imagined experience and a real one. When you regularly visualize a future outcome and feel it in your body, your brain begins wiring itself toward that reality. When you repeatedly see something, feel it, and emotionally experience it as real, your mind begins to orient your decisions, behaviors, and attention toward creating it. This meditation helps you do exactly that. For best results, listen to this meditation or practice its visualization daily, and allow yourself to step into the future you are creating. The physiological sigh (also known as cyclic sighing) involves two inhales through the nose, followed by a slow extended exhale through the mouth. This is an invitation to sit with yourself, exactly as you are, without guidance, without a specific goal or intention. Rather than trying to create or shift anything, this space allows you to rest in presence and find comfort within your own inner world. We begin with a short period of gentle guidance to help you arrive in your body and settle into the moment. From there, youโ€™ll be held by music alone for four minutes (no guidance, no instructions) just open space to let this practice become whatever you need it to be. We then close the practice with soft guidance. This is a practice of pure presence, inviting you to come exactly as you are.
