This week I identified my money trade on IWM. This is a trade I can make again and again for success and earn some good income. The trade can either be a Vertical Put Credit Spread or an Iron Condor. Due to this trade working so well, I am considering taking more risk by increasing the number of contracts. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. Each month I like to review my trades and see how I have done for the month. It gives me time to adjust and learn from my mistakes. It has been a crazy earnings season. It has been both good and bad for me. Some of my stocks that were in the money are now out of the money. That is the good. The bad is that CVS shocked everyone with bad earnings and bad guidance and were hammered. The stock dropped in a crazy way I believe close to 20% in one day. Both legs of a Vertical Put Credit Spread were suddenly underwater. The shares were assigned to me within 48 hours. Now most people are looking at this as a great loss and stopping there. Now, is it? It's time to set goals. I am looking at setting a weekly goal of 2k a week and 8k a month for option premium. Is this crazy or should I tone it down and pick lower goals. I have been close to averaging $7,500 the last two months with sticking to an average of six trades a week. One more trade weekly might help me reach this goal.
