This is Part 1 of 2 Winter talks with Louise about her son Xavier, who died 19 days after birth due do complications with his brain development. Louise talks about the joy she felt during the early stages of the pregnancy and the worry in the later stages. Louise tells us about finding out that there were complications and that she needed to head to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and the wonderful team that help her and Xavier. Karina talks with Winter about the birth, life, and death of her daughter Chelsea. Chelsea was born at 36 weeks and lived for 19 day. The cause of death was not apparent at first.
