Description
Join us weekly, where either Ross, Ashley or a guest will pitch their untapped idea for a podcast - whether it’s fully formed, a bit rough around the edges or just a bit of a laugh. They will then do a trial run of that podcast idea and decide if they’ve found audio gold, or if one episode is plenty.

This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest, Lauren Dick: "Trend It or End It?" Comedian, writer and all-round super mum Lauren pitches her pod in which a group of Millennials sit and chat about what's in or out and whether we're liking the trends or ending them - sadly however, Ashley is, of course, a Gen Z Cusper so we had to just make do.
This week's idea comes courtesy of our producer David Allan: "What's the Name of the Game?". Our very own audio whizz David is back to present his gaming quiz show, and it's another Ashley v Ross showdown - that can only mean fireworks!
This week's idea: "The Chase: After the Hunt". Join us this week as Ashley combines the two loves of her life: The Chase and talking. We discuss Chaser statistics, our own Chaser alter egos, and recap an episode we watched, complete with awards for best and worst answers and more! The Chase: After the Hunt... is... on.
This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest, Zara Gladman: "Home Truths". Zara, comedian and sometimes West End Mum, pitches us her pod about living together. We get introspective about what we're like to live with and listen to voice notes from our old flatmates.
This week's idea: "The Ashcademy Ashwards (The R-Oscars)". Join Ashley and Ross as they discuss the upcoming 98th Oscars, make their predictions, suggest some alternate nominations and hand out Oscars in their own original categories.
This week's idea comes courtesty of our guest Danny Mooney: "Trivial and Tribal" - or "TnT" for short. Singer-songwriter Danny pitches us his idea for a podcast about the most inconsequential but heated debates in society. Join us for this ep, dedicated to chippy orders and the joys of salt 'n' sauce.
This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest Daryll Buchanan: "The Sniffth Sense". Daryll, the in-house photographer at The Stand comedy club, pitches us a pod all about scents and smells, including the main event - a good ol' fashioned sniff-off.
This week's idea: "They Always Play That One". It's a setlist.fm guessing game! Join us as we guess which songs artists have played the most times live. As usual when it's Ashley vs Ross things are gonna get HEATED, and there may be some RIVALRY too...
This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest Sam Clark: "Balling Up Socks". Sam, best friend of Ashley and deep laundry thinker, challenges us to engage our minds on various topics while we ball up our socks.
This week's idea: Ross has written a bespoke Choose Your Own Adventure story for Ashley. Can Ashley survive the trials and tribulations of fame and reach the very top of British culture... and who will she step on to get there?
This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest Stephen Buchanan: "It's a Wee Cin". Award-winning comedian Stephen pitches us his movie gameshow, featuring them tunes, improv voiceovers, and a Rotten Tomatoes guessing game. Who will be crowned the biggest wee cinephile?
This week's festive idea comes courtesy of our guest, Santa Claus: "In the Saint Nick of Time". Join us live from the North Pole as we chat to Santa, get the lowdown on how his sleigh works, and tell him what our listeners would like for Christmas.
This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest Laura Doherty: "Just SevenTrauma". Laura, the co-host of the Lost Map Podcast, pitches us a pod looking back at the best years of any woman's life... her teens of course! Join us as we flick through a classic Noughties magazine, getting life altering advice, such as what to eat on a date and how to behave around boys like Matt Saracen from Friday Night Lights. October 2007 issue of Seventeen magazine: https://archive.org/details/SeventeenMagazine2007-10/mode/1up
This week's idea: "Don't Tell the Corpse". We're planning each other's funerals... but in a fun way.
This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest (and producer) David Allan: "Macaroadtrip Cheese". David, a photographer and radio & podcast producer, pitches us his idea for a food review show where he takes in the finest mac and cheeses Scotland has to offer. For his trial episode we're heading to Hillhead Bookclub in Glasgow's West End!
This week's idea: "Movies for Mars". Join us, the Movies for Mars Committee, as we choose an actor, discuss their filmography, then decide which one of their films should go to the new colony on Mars. First up, the wonderful Toni Collette!
This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest Adam Miller, better known as Old Firm Facts: "Would I Reply to You?" Sports journalist and podcaster Adam pitches us his idea for a show all about replies - the ones you said, the ones you didn't, and the ones you stewed about in the shower for 3 weeks afterwards.
This week's idea: "The Price of Fame". Join us (and play along at home) as we take semi-educated guesses at how much celebrities are charging for their services on Cameo.
This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest Alison Keil: "The Lesser of Two Abysmals". BravoTV savant Alison pitches us her idea for a debating show where guests argue which of two controversial pop culture staples is less evil and/or abysmal. Who will come out on top in this race to the bottom?
This week's idea: "Séance & Séance-ability". It's a Halloween special! Join us as we summon famous spirits from the other side of the veil and do scarily questionable impressions of them.
