Impromptu stone-age adventure while mic testing for the TALES of FIRE & STONE podcast. This D&D actual play story uses the Born From Ice system for realistic role playing in the prehistoric world. Find out more at CrowsPath.org/StonePod
Welcome to the first ever episode of Tales of Fire & Stone! In this episode, we meet 5 of our 6 stone-age adventurers (Slow-to-Speak, Oops, SnowShines, StandsTall, and LooksUp), struggling to hunt and forage enough to survive another day in the midst of an extreme drought in their ancestral valley home. Will they find the food and water they so desperately need? Will the tribe hold together through these tough times? I guess we're about to find out.....
After returning to their tribe, our stone-age adventurers share food and news, and prepare to move camp. Tensions are high, and dangers lurk both around the cooking fire and in the darkness that surrounds it.... We meet Cuckoo (played by Maria), adopted into the tribe from the sunward deserts. Also in this episode are Slow-To-Speak, Oops, SnowShines, StandsTall, LooksUp, and the rest of the Crow tribe. CrowsPath.org/StonePod
The stone-age Crow tribe faces a challenge, creeping in the darkness; can they stand together, or will old wounds (and new dangers) tear them apart? Will our heroes; LooksUp, StandsTall, SnowShines, Oops, Slow-to-Speak, & Cuckoo; survive to continue their adventure?
Flashback part 1/2! Jumping back to when LooksUp, Oops, and Cuckoo were sent on their rite of passage, traveling alone up a small valley to visit the Crow Tribe's sacred tree. Also includes an even earlier flashback to Cuckoo's time alone in the wilderness before she joined the Crow Tribe (which also happens to be Maria's first deep dive into D&D rules). Maria is using my custom character sheet, available at edukidspace.etsy.com
