The Advantage Line is back for another week as host Paul and Karl are joined this time by NRL guru Nick Tedeschi and former NRL player Blake Ayshford.In traditional fashion, the show starts off with each member of the panel asked to describe each game of the Round 4 slate with one word and one word only, allowing us to get a feel for how the team viewed the action.The lads then go through a review of their recent weekend of picks as their in-house competition roars on, with a new leaderboard order in place. This week also ups the stakes of the competition, as the punishment for the loser was announced.To finish the episode, the group previews some of the biggest games of a huge Round 5 slate while also making their next set of tips for the competition.

The Advantage Line is back for another edition, as hosts Karl and Paul discuss all the recent happenings in the rugby league world with their panel of experts. This week on the show, the team is made up of NRL guru Nick Tedeschi, Searley the oval ball connoisseur, and former NRL player Blake Ayshford. To open the episode, the team dive into how the Warriors’ 3-0 start has them feeling and what has stood out most to them during the early part of the season. Next, Karl brings a new game to the table, where everyone has to describe each of the last round’s matchups with one word only. Following this, the topic wheel is spun and the team are back discussing the Wahs, as they look into what the potential best spine for the team should be going forward from their red hot start. In traditional fashion, the panel close out by looking back at all their picks from the weekend and put together a new set for the upcoming round.

They review the last weekend of internationals, where Australia beat England 30–8 to sweep the Ashes 3–0, and New Zealand claimed the Pacific Championship over Samoa. A big talking point was Deine Mariner’s disallowed try — would the result have changed if it had counted? The boys agree the match was played at Origin-level intensity, international footy now could be the pinnacle. Kieran Foran farewelled the game in perfect style, ending a phenomenal career, while Dylan Brown picked up three Man of the Match awards and showed his worth for Newcastle next year. They also give credit to Stacey Jones for silencing the doubters. The team looks back on a massive 2025 from Las Vegas and Magic Round to the Pacific Champs, calling it one of the best NRL seasons yet. To finish, they wrap up The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and throw out some early 2026 predictions, naming their premiers, top 8, wooden spooners, Dally M winner, and Team of the Year for 2026.
