Description

Let’s skip the fake intros.

I’m Kalee Grace. KG for short.

Faith’s complicated. Dogs aren’t.

Let’s Get Deep is a mix of both — three Labradors, deep faith conversations, plenty of uncomfortable honesty, and probably something I’ll regret saying later. It is what it is.

I’m not perfect. I question God more than I probably should, but I still believe He’s good — and that He somehow still loves little ol’ me.

I’m not your sunshine-and-rainbows kind of girl. I’m the kind who gets in the dirt and wrestles with God — just like Jacob did. And I know how hard it is to find like-minded people who wrestle with God the same way. So, I created a space for us — to wrestle, grow, heal, and fight for our faith. To dive deep into the truth.

So, if you’re like me and you’re tired of surface-level faith and performance Christianity, congrats — you’ve found your podcast. If you’re looking for curated religion… wrong podcast, babe. Try Pinterest.

Happy New Year!Today, Kalee Grace interviews her close friend Nicole who recently got married. She discusses transitioning into married life and adapting to change along with a few other topics. You don't want to miss this!
In this episode of Let’s Get Deep, we talk about new beginnings — the real kind. Not aesthetic resets, not forced positivity, but the kind of renewal God brings when fear, trauma, and old patterns no longer get to run the show.We unpack how God restores what felt lost, why preparation often comes before restoration, and how unhealed attachment patterns can quietly block the very things we’ve prayed for. This episode explores obedience, courage, and what it looks like to try again — not as the same person, but with greater capacity.Through Scripture and honest reflection, we look at stories like Ruth, Jonah, the prodigal son, Peter, and Esther, and how God uses relationship, renewal, and trust to bring healing and alignment. If you’ve been feeling stuck, hesitant, or unsure whether to step forward again — this episode is an invitation to renew your mind, open your heart, and trust that God is already doing something new.
In this episode, we’re diving into Colossians 2 and Kevin DeYoung’s Just Do Something — two sources that basically pull us aside and say, “Hey… you’re fully equipped in Christ. Stop acting like you need a 37-step blueprint before you move.”We talk about the very real fear of failing again, why you might be frozen at a green light, and how God isn’t withholding direction — you’re just overthinking it. Spoiler: What you called failure might’ve been God’s protection, and what you called “waiting on God” might actually be God waiting on you to take a step.If you’ve been asking for a sign, clarity, confirmation, a dove descending from the heavens — whatever — this episode is your wake-up call. Your dreams, your desires, your calling? God put those there. And if He planted it, He’s capable of fulfilling it.So buckle up, take the holy slap with love, and let’s talk about courage, obedience, and walking into the life you’ve been praying for.Don’t miss this one — unless you enjoy being stuck, and then… that’s on you.
In this episode, we’re talking about how God often calls us into things before we feel fully healed, fully confident, fully qualified or fully ready. We dig into why:• “I’m not ready yet” is usually just a cover for fear• Healing actually happens in motion• Obedience doesn’t require perfection• Purpose love, and healing can show up when we don't THINK we are ready for them.• God doesn’t ask us to have it all figured out — just to move with HimIf you’ve been stalling on something God has already made a way for — a calling, a next step, a relationship, a change, a new chapter — this is your sign: stop stalling when God finally opens the door. You don’t have to be fully healed, ready, or qualified to be faithfully moving. If you were? You wouldn't need God.Let’s talk about it.
In this episode of Let’s Get Deep, Kalee Grace unpacks what it really means to start over—especially when you ran ahead of God, crashed the car, and now you’re standing in the wreckage like, “Okay Lord… now what?” From Sarah’s impatience to Moses’ late calling and Ruth’s redemption arc, this episode dives into how God rebuilds what we break, redirects what we forced, and renews what we thought was ruined. If you’ve walked away from something that was rushed, or if you feel like you’re in the awkward in-between of a chapter closing but the next one not yet revealed—this is your sign. God is aligning careers, purpose, healing, and yes… even the people who will matter in the next season. It’s not too late. You’re not behind. He makes all things new.Rooted. Honest. Unfiltered. Let’s get deep.
I don’t have a perfect testimony. I have questions, anger, doubt, and a Bible full of stories that make me wonder if God is loving or just… terrifying. Jesus feels kind and safe—but God the Father? In the Old Testament He feels silent, violent, distant, and hard to trust. This podcast is me saying the quiet part out loud. No fake reverence. No churchy filters. Just raw conversations about:Why God allows pain and then goes silentWhy He didn’t send Jesus in GenesisWhy the Father looks angry while Jesus looks gentleWhy prayer feels pointless when God already “decided”Why grace feels real in Jesus, but not always in YahwehIf you’re deconstructing but don’t want to walk away from Jesus… if you love God but also don’t like Him right now… if you’ve prayed “God, if You’re real, show me who You are” and heard nothing—this space is for you.Not to bash God. Not to preach at you. But to sit in the tension and wrestle until something real breaks through.
If you’ve ever wondered whether God actually gave you free will or if this is all just one big predestined simulation… same. This episode is a raw, unfiltered journal-style wrestle with God — featuring heavy theology, honest confusion, tiny sparks of revelation, and my service dog Zola eating a sock in the background like it’s a holy act of worship. We talk about:Predestination vs. free will — is this rigged??Sarah’s impatience, Hagar’s pain, and realizing I am both of themWhat “being made new” actually means — the non-aesthetic versionWhy God didn’t just reset the world after Adam & Eve messed upThis is not a sermon. It’s not cleaned-up. It’s me asking the questions out loud — and somehow discovering that wrestling with God might actually be holy.If you feel too real, too angry, too confused to sound like a “good Christian”… Pull up a chair. You’re safe here.SHOW NOTES (for below the description or website/blog embed)Mentioned concepts in this episode:Romans 8:28–30Regeneration vs. behavior modificationWhy Eden wasn’t the end — and why New Creation is differentGod’s grace toward both Sarah and Hagar
