First Issue Club Comic Books

It's a catch-up week on F.I.C! We missed last week so we're talking about two weeks wortha issues. THEY INCLUDE: Fox Mask Killer, Ofiusa, Creepshow, Spawn 77, Six of Us, Karman Blade, Forever Home, The Folk of Dooney Hollow, and Fixation. WHEW! In the news we mostly talk about Marvel Miracle Man stuff. 

This week delivered on firsties in a big way! We covered as many of them as we could, and still left a ton of great comics on the table. This week was headlined by the books in the title - all three are next-level team books from DC Comics by brilliant creators. Out on Image we'll talk about Jeff Lemires Crowbound, and Steve Skroces Tales of Wonder. Warbird on Bad Idea comes from a fun group of Venditti, Kolstad, Maleev and Ribic. Archie officially releases on Oni with a bit of a return to form. On Boom, we read No Gods, No Masters which is a teen vs kaiju adventure. Finally, we also get into Prima Apparata on Ignition press which is a Mech Ballet Hunger Games in outer space... Whew!

So many great first issues this week! No way there's not at least one of these that interests you. In addition to the books in the title, we'll also discuss Bad Seeds, and Regicide from a couple weeks back. 

Sean Murphy is back on the shelves with another great comic! We'll talk about The Last Driver, Bug Wars, Shellschock, Spider-Man & Hulk: Fire and Brimstone, Lazarus Order, and Hello Kitty.

So many indie comics this week - In addition to comics in the title, we got Realligator, The Smart Division, and Mary Jane: Face it, Tiger. In comic news we're mostly speculating about X-Men stuff based on new casting announcements.
