In today's episode, I'm stepping down from the soapbox and taking a more grounded approach to what it looks like to speak life, faith, and prosperity over your business. In whichever season of life that you're in, weather building, growing, navigating a challenging season, or simply trying to find clarity in what comes next, you need to hear this. I'm sharing a collection of business declarations inspired by the closing prayers in a close friend's book. These declarations encouraged me, and I hope they encourage you too. We'll speak over a variety of topics that hit close to home for me and left me wanting to share that same encouragement. Important Links: Needing help to grow your business? After closing on our first flip house, I quickly realized that every new project brings another round of lessons. We are now in the early stages of our second flip, what we hope will be a six-week renovation, and I am already seeing business lessons that have nothing to do with construction and everything to do with how you lead. In this episode, I'm talking about being direct, standing firm in your decisions, navigating conflict, staying true to the original scope of a project, and recognizing when someone is taking advantage of what you are willing to offer. These are lessons that apply far beyond real estate. They show up when you are managing employees, working with clients, hiring help, setting expectations, and making decisions in your business. If you are in a season of growth, this is your reminder that being kind does not mean being passive, and being generous does not mean allowing your boundaries to be crossed. You can lead with grace while still holding firm to what you have said, what you agreed to, and where your line in the sand is. Important Links: Needing help to grow your business? In today's episode, I'm breaking down the difference between quitting and being done, because there is a very real distinction between the two, and understanding that difference matters. I may get a little off topic throughout this conversation, but I keep coming back to what spiritually goes into quitting and how that can impact you, your decisions, and your business. I also talk about what it means to be done with a particular season, business, opportunity, strategy, or even a version of yourself that no longer fits where you're going. Sometimes walking away is quitting, and sometimes it's simply recognizing that something has come to an end. My hope is that today's conversation brings you some freedom and clarity, especially if you've been questioning whether you should keep going or let something go. Whether you're in the middle of a difficult business decision, closing one chapter, or trying to understand what comes next, I hope this episode helps you move forward with greater peace and intention. Last week, I talked about what it looks like to coast in business, and today I'm taking that conversation a step further. Because coasting well doesn't happen by accident. There are some essential things I need in place to be able to slow down, step back, and still keep my business moving. For me, one of the biggest things is knowing where my revenue is coming from, even when I'm not showing my face, creating content, or actively selling every single day. I also talk about the importance of knowing exactly where your money is going. At one point, I realized I was spending nearly $7,500 a month on subscriptions and software I wasn't even using. That was a wake-up call that I needed to pay closer attention to my numbers. Whether you're in a season of growth or a season of coasting, your business still needs structure, healthy systems, and financial awareness. In this episode, I'm sharing the things that have allowed me to coast without completely stepping away from my business, and why building that kind of foundation can give you freedom in every season of entrepreneurship. What does it actually mean to coast in business? Coasting doesn't mean stepping away from your business completely, and it doesn't mean you're aggressively scaling, adding more, or pushing harder every single day. Sometimes, coasting simply means maintaining what you've built and giving yourself room to focus on other areas of life without everything in your business falling apart. In today's episode, I'm sharing what coasting has looked like for me and my business over the past month. With life happening, school starting back up, and the beginning of my real estate flipping journey, I haven't been operating at full speed. Instead, I've been able to lean on the infrastructure, systems, team, and foundation I've built over the years. Important Links: Needing help to grow your business?
